As long as it remains legal where I live and I still get to choose how I do it, I'm perfectly fine with that. I'd rather avoid developing lung cancer from smoking (goodness knows I'm probably well on my way there from my childhood, on account of how frequently I was stuck breathing secondhand tobacco smoke), and I hear vaping can lead to something called "popcorn lung", but I'm more than happy to do edibles.

Simple: fear of reprisal from the cops. Police are known to circle the wagons and laser-target anyone who kills one of their number, even if the dead one was the most corrupt and criminal cop to ever live, and they are afforded a great deal of legal protection from the consequences of their actions on a normal day. Chances are, even killing a cop in self-defense, even if the officer's target was otherwise completely innocent, would see law enforcement lose any restraint they might have had in destroying them.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if it turned out the quality control for these things was so ridiculously low that they contained a chemical that caused impotence?

On IMDB, people can choose whether or not to have their birthday listed. Most actresses choose not to show theirs, for obvious reasons. But Jennifer Hale, has the day( Jan 1) but not the year. I find that really odd.

According to her Wikipedia page, her birth year was once reported as 1972 in an interview she once had with The New Yorker, but it's likely not her actual birth year, because she is known to have graduated from the Alabama School of Fine Arts in 1982.

Admittedly, the management would probably improve (if only because Zaslav probably wouldn't be on Bob Iger's shortlist of successors; then again, Iger did retire from Disney before and left it in the incapable hands of Bob Chapek before, which necessitated him returning to the company to clean up Chapek's mess), but WBD probably has way too much debt (offloaded onto it by AT&T back when they sold WarnerMedia) for it to be worth the effort for Disney.

I assume it only dies once there's nobody else in range pumping out brainwaves for it to eat for a long period of time. As such, babel fish could outlive their own hosts and then be extracted for reuse.

With the Republicans going full mask-off in their corruption and disdain for democracy, and with how many states are under GQP control courtesy of how much they've already rigged the game, I think Trump is going to steal the election even more brazenly than Bush did in 2000. And Biden and the Democrats either can't or won't do anything to stop it.

Probably moreso the latter. Way more people are familiar with getting things to work in Unreal Engine 4 (the engine behind MvCI), since it's so frequently licensed out for use by developers of all ranges from indie to AAA than they are with trying to work with a completely closed-off, internal engine like Capcom's MT Framework (the engine behind UMvC3).

Assuming he believes there's any surviors besides himself, he'd rush off to try to become the all-powerful, undisputed King of the Wasteland, only to be immediately and unceremoniously fatally radiation-poisoned, gunned down by Raiders, and/or eaten by mutated animals, depending on which way he goes out of Vault 111. And that's if he manages to make it past all the Radroaches infesting the vault itself once he's thawed out of cryosleep.

In that case, Saddler would have needed to pony up enough pesetas to buy Donald Jr. a plane ticket back to Florida once the Plaga parasite fully took over his brain, because no way would his dickheaded dunce of a father notice or care that his son went missing, let alone bother to send anyone to rescue him. And I'm not sure he could have gotten into a close enough range to Donnie to inject him with a Plaga egg anyway, since I'm pretty sure he's never once hugged his sons. The only real upside to Los Illuminados in this "RE4 but during the Trump administration" scenario is that it probably wouldn't take as long for Las Plagas to hijack control of the Trumps' brains.

I never watched it back in the '90s (I was too young for it back then), but I love it now.

On paper, it's illegal. In practice, it's very much still legal, you just can't openly use race to justify such discrimination, and instead have to take an extra step or two to indirectly use it (e.g. redlining, stop-and-frisk, etc.).

That's just another problem with the glut of "smart" devices lately. The more complex machines get, the easier they are to break, and a TV mashed up with a computer breaks very easily. Give me a "dumb" TV over a "smart" one any day of the week.

Depends on whether they can legally still include the X-Men games in the collection as long as they label the whole collection as just "Marvel vs. Capcom Collection" or something, since Sony Interactive Entertainment now has the exclusive rights to make X-Men games (though the characters can still appear in general Marvel games, such as the upcoming Overwatch clone, Marvel Rivals; Spider-Man is also in this situation, as he was able to appear in Nintendo's Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 even after SIE snagged the solo Spider-Man game rights). For sure, they wouldn't be able to re-release the X-Men games separately from the other MvC games, but I'm not certain they'd be able to do so with the others unless SIE gave the okay.

Air Force. I had family who served there, and IIRC, they're generally the most amenable branch to left-wing politics.
