Bragged bout meeting Kim Jong Un, then walks it back, then avoids the question directly if she met him, by saying she meets with a lot of world leaders. Also claimed she visited North Korea by visiting the DMZ, which isn't in fact North Korea.

Then at the end of her interview she implies she'd shoot Biden's dog Commander.

It's about the cruelty. MAGA is a movement that relishes in cruelty, the more cruel and despicable you are the more they like you because they see it as "strength", that's why she framed it as "having the ability to make tough calls".

Fortunately the Trump campaign has already said they're not taking her as VP, so she's stuck in SD and hopefully not even in power there after their next election.

The campaign has already said they will never choose her. Trump hates dogs and she was probably thinking a story of her killing a dog would be endearing to him, however with not only this all she does is get bad press for terrible things and even his campaign realizes it would be a mistake.

Yeah, the campaign has already said they're not taking her on as VP and even though they claim it was decided before this story, it's probably because of this story getting the rational amount of blowback from even Republicans. There's a very small subsection of Republicans who approve of cruelty to animals that nobody's tried to court before because there was no need to and we're seeing what happens when someone does.

Not just the crazies in our government, but the media that enables and even encourages such nutjobs because that's what gets people to tune in.

I spotted our billy goat
After Noem made the death march to her farms gravel pit, where she shot Cricket, she was apparently still in an uncontrollable rage.

Walking back up to the yard, I spotted our billy goat, Noem wrote.

The nameless goats only sin in that moment was being in Noems field of view.

In the book, Noem tried to justify her snap decision to kill the goat by writing that it loved to chase her children and would knock them down and butt them, leaving them terrified. The animal also had a wretched smell.

But apparently none of that had been a big enough problem to do anything about it. Not until Noem got angry enough to kill a dog and decided she needed to kill again.

Noem says she dragged the goat to the gravel pit, tied him to a post, and shot at him. But the goat jumped when she shot.

My shot was off and I needed one more shell to finish the job, she wrote.

She studiously avoided saying she wounded the goat with the first shot, but thats the implication.

Not wanting him to suffer, she added apparently experiencing her first twinge of feeling, after saying that killing the dog was not pleasant I hustled back across the pasture to the pickup, grabbed another shell, hurried back to the gravel pit, and put him down.

The goat story not only reflects a disturbing lack of self-control, but also raises a question of law.

She's fucking even more horrible than I thought.
