It's just plain old corruption within Boeing itself. Besides, those within the American government do enough sabotaging themselves so there's barely any need for outside interference. Well, Russia is trying their best and succeeding, but I doubt this is on them.

Obvious corruption going on here and that's putting it mildly. I'd bet good money the government is involved. They're letting it slide regardless. Sadly nothing will happen to anyone except any more whistle blowers. This country is garbage, total garbage, and anyone who still feels patriotic in any fashion is...I'll stop before I'm modded.

That episode killed me. I was dying throughout but then Dennis says "we found the bike" and it was the finishing blow. Definitely my favorite episode.

I love when he says "Oh, Mac...".

Maybe someone who's actually trans will feel differently, but I don't think their handling of trans issues is any worse than anything else they did. The trans woman is happy, healthy, and well adjusted. The show portrays Mac as being an idiot for being weird about it.

That's how I feel. It's no different than all the other idiocy and ignorance done by the show's characters.

The same people who screamed at everyone to support the troops suddenly stopped caring once those troops became homeless, suffer from mental illness, suffer from drug addiction, or all of the above. And especially if they spoke out against the US's actions in Afghanistan or Iraq.

I always thought the original series was mostly fine with some good parts. I never got the love and the several sequels it got. It could get kind of obnoxious at times. That animation is horrible, but the original wasn't great either though it worked better in 2D.

I know this is very minor compared to all the other awfulness of capitalism, but how can people see things like this and still support our current system? Even going past the stupid idea of cashiers not being "real work" it's happening in so many other ways too and will continue until every job that can be outsourced will be.

I can remember watching the pilot episode during the Kids Choice Awards when I was 9 years old in 99.

I always forget it debuted in 99. It feels at least a year or two older even though I also saw the debut.

I don't really have one.

The info could, and inevitably will, be hacked and so many people will be blackmailed for their kinks. Then there's the risk of the government spying on people too. Republicans in charge will use it to target LGBT+ people amongst others.

We have to work with the system we have and sadly it's a two party system with one party heading to full fascist mode. I hate the Democratic Party, or at least 98% of them, but we have to get them to win and take away control from Republicans. We have more of a chance of getting a more progressive system eventually with them than the fascists.

There's nothing wrong with having quips in movies. There still needs to be a time and place for it and they still have to be not lame. "They fly now" was lame. So was the yo mama joke in TLJ. Everyone crapped on "This is such a drag" in AOTC and deservedly so with no push back. It and other lame or corny lines don't excuse other ones.

I imagine over in the UK, there are people who defend this sort of thing and say things like "well just work harder", "get a second job", and "stop spending money on avocado toast (or the Brit equivalent)" like we do in the US.

Wasn't there an Irish guy in 3? Maybe a Brit too? I feel like there were non-Americans in the older games too, but not sure.

I like how these old comedians act like the extreme left are the ones running multi-billion dollar studios. Always Sunny proves him wrong along with several other shows. Even Curb Your Enthusiasm, a show he was on multiple times, wasn't hampered by any "radical liberal wokeness".

These older comedians who became unfunny (or always were) and still rely on dated jokes and stereotypes of the 20th century and don't get as many ticket sales or roles offered to them anymore can't help but to blame everyone else for their own tired dreck of comedy. Not to mention they treat stand up comedy as some sacred act and any criticism is considered to be oppression and suppression of free speech.

I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.

Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock.

Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds, but I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist.

But seriously, he's awesome. 10/10

People who have strong negative opinions of Shock tend to be a certain kind of poster, I've noticed.

I think a lot of them are or at the least are chubby. Maybe Hobbits have better metabolisms so they don't get super fat outside certain ones.

And while they don't smoke weed, it makes waaay more sense that pipe weed is pot and not tobacco. Hobbits are pretty joyful, eat a lot, and love the colors red, yellow, and green.

I've had that happen to me a couple of times. I was on so many different anti-depressants from age 13 to my early 20s and none of them really helped and also had some bad side effect. At some point I just said screw it and stopped taking anything and found other ways to make me less depressed.

Before someone misconstrues my post, I'm not saying everyone should do so nor am I saying that anti-depressants don't work in general.

I guess they knew Richard didn't have enough time left. I'm glad he got to be in the final season and he was great in it. Seems like he and Larry have been best friends for a long time. Larry's quote about Richard's passing is sadly sweet.

Richard and I were born three days apart in the same hospital and for most of my life hes been like a brother to me. He had that rare combination of being the funniest person and also the sweetest. But today he made me sob and for that, Ill never forgive him.

Anyone, to not be totally morbid, season 12 was pretty good (pretty pretty pretty good) and while not the best, was a fine final season. I'll save some other comments for when you're done because I don't want to spoil anything.

4 is definitely better than 76 and better in a lot of ways than 3 (and even NV to a lesser extent) . It's dumbed down from NV of course, but people act like it's complete garbage with nothing redeemable or good in it. Y'all need to quit being so dramatic.

Remember, we have two parties: Fascists and fascist enablers and both looooove lobbyist money. Democrats have always fought harder against the left than the right.

A company and their fans shouldn't be up on their high horses and act morally superior when the company also has some problematic people there. That's the issue. Tony can't make fun of Vince doing bad things to women while hiring someone who did bad things to women. You can't excuse one form of SA just because it wasn't as egregious as the other nor all the other bad things.
