I'm somewhat curious to read a summary of whats happened since I last watched, but I also feel like absorbing that information might take a long time Though in the case of DP and XY, he logically should have won both, but the writers blatantly screw him out of each. DP: A guy who was not foreshadowed at all until then appears at the league with a Darkrai, who sweeps everyone with it. Ash manages to KO it after losing four of his Pokemon, only for him to send out a Latios and finish off Ash (though Ash's Pikachu managed to get a double-KO with it). XY: Alain's Mega Charizard X basically tanked every attack Ash threw at it, and defeated his fresh Ash-Greninja in only a few attacks, including a Fire attack which finished it off. Considering that the next region would not have a league, many felt that this would have been the perfect time for Ash to win a league. --- |
