Yeah it's pretty much an "RE clone" with some more emphasis on adventure game elements especially if you play as Scully. It's not as polished as an RE but it's still worth playing for a survival horror fan. Also like the PS1 FMV game it fits into the show's canon.

Has some of the greatest individual character moments in the entire series. Mordin curing the genophage (or you shooting him), Wrex's death, pretty much the whole Earth assault. Also has some of the most mind-numbing stupidity in the series too. You can see the holes in the very game's own choice system when Z-list characters you've never heard of take over instead of actual main characters (Wreav & Padok being great examples of this). I think the game delivers Reapers rather anti-climatically especially in its lame no-stakes opening; the colorful, varied cast of ME2 is replaced with a much less diverse set of characters; choice making is embarrassingly binary and lacks meaning & depth. And the ending is well... the ending. However, a few bones are definitely thrown in for the DLC.

Nuclear is a bit overused but it's still the scariest and most interesting to me. Something about images of post-destruction really resonates with me; a twisted beauty, the poignant loneliness and emptiness, how survivors cope with their new world & reality as they realize there's no one to blame other than humanity itself. It's the plausibility of it that really gets me at its core I think.

Plus it gets points for technically including Godzilla in its ranks since kaiju is probably my second favorite.

I know what you mean but then again I don't really have a set nominations pattern even if it can seem like I do sometimes. I just nominate what strikes me in the moment which typically happens to be horror ambiance, and at least it's still from a horror game so it still kinda fits my "image" XD

I think I'm mostly done with superhero movies? Or at least the Marvel variety. I think I was done a while ago but I was just dragging it out until the overall story came to a conclusion, so once the last Avengers movie came out I kind of lost any reason I had to continue watching them.

I'm personally not done with them but also don't feel like the whole next slate of films is that interesting to me. I'm more interested in the TV side of things now.
