I just don't see the need to have both SMB3 & SMB1 since they essentially represent the same era of the series.

I'm no authority, I only really play Final Fantasy anymore in terms of modern JRPGs.

But I have heard Persona 5, Persona 3, Like a Dragon series, and the recent Unicorn Overlord are good!

XVI is more of an action rpg than a JRPG so you might like Remake a little better. They are both action-based but Remake also has elements closer to what you expect as well. XVI is basically full action.

Honestly 5th to 6th is an insane jump. The "photo-realistic" graphics introduced are still what gets pushed today. The graphical leap from 4th to 5th is impressive but it also feels more so like an all-together different style instead. Add broadband to console games and highly improved audio quality on top of that and you truly have an insane leap that really hasn't been replicated since then.

Kirby's Adventure or Battletoads are up there for sure but another extremely impressive one is Crisis Force - a shmup powerhouse of graphics with parallax scrolling, pseudo 3D, and absolutely impressive set-pieces.

Everyone should clearly be voting Pyramid Head since it has no reason to appear unless James is in the cell :P

Usually "newest" version of the original and play the remake when it comes up in the release order.

Very feminine energy, very tough cool customers. The country of the top two songs sank down very early, but kept surging above and avoiding execution so, so many times. Hillary Reese escaped certain death at one point, being placed at #75 before a major shake-up (or was it 76?). Really fun selection of songs that will be stuck in my head for years to come.

Very glad you mostly liked my songs! The Pink Dazzled reshuffle was a welcome surprise. Honestly country with tough women has been like my preferred genre the past few years!
