I saw that advertised on Facebook like 1-2 days ago and Alexa Bliss was the first person in the list. Everyone else after her was not a wrestler but some sort of other celebrity and I scrolled for quite some time.

Federer started his #1 run in early 2004, when Nadal was only 18 and still a rookie. While you can say he hit his prime on clay by 2005, he was still very rough on other courts. Nadal didn't even make past the 4th round of a non-French Open grand slam until US Open 2006 so imo 2007 (or maaaybe 2006) is the earliest you can really call him prime Nadal.

Other part of this is that Federer had 12 titles before Nadal won his 1st non French Open title. And by that point, Djokovic had already won his first title.

Edit: Prime Nadal is probably 2008 or 2010.

Doubt it this season. KCF hasn't altered the cap once the season has begun. It wouldn't really be fair on the people that have already made moves based on the current cap. He did say on Discord that he would look at it in the future after a couple of us expressed concern (although realistically it's mainly just me whining).

I have it and I've never had any issues with it. I don't use it super frequently though and use it pretty much exclusively through the smart tv app

Because some places still require them to enter. I actually can't think of any places except for Publix and 1 post office that actually have them as optional in my area. Everywhere else still has it posted on the door as required

Vaccinated and I wear it where it's required but since every store is hit and miss on whether they have relaxed the rules yet it basically equates to wearing it all the time

I just finished the final episode. It was a lot better than I expected and I would not have watched it if not for the wife because the splash screens for it would have never caught my interest. Animal rescues in my area. There's 4-5 that pull non adoptable cats from the local animal shelter. Some are flagged as feral which makes them non-adoptable to the public (and the shelter is extremely liberal over flagging cats as feral). Some are marked non adoptable because they have medical issues.

It's important that these rescues get funding to keep rescuing the cats and nursing them back to adoptable condition or look after them permanently in their sanctuaries otherwise the cats are euthanized.

I also regularly transport the cats from the shelter to fosters or the rescues vet. Easiest round trips are 2 hour transports and like 60-100 miles but some are upwards of 7-8 hours (usually that's for cats that have FeLV because finding a rescue capable of taking them is extremely difficult and the shelter only gives 1-2 days to find one). I don't factor that into my donated amount though.

Unfortunately I can't foster any cats as I'm up to 5 and 1 dog with foster fails on my record (i.e. I keep them) so I can't trust myself. So transporting and donating money is my way of doing what I can.

I've always never wanted kids to the point where it has caused break ups in the past (I was always 100% upfront from the start for the record). When met my wife I changed my mind from I never want kids to I'll have one eventually because she wanted one although still didn't really want one myself. I've recently mellowed more into I wouldn't mind one.

However, my wife has PCOS so it may never happen. Although when we went to the gynaecologist / fertility doctor they didn't seem remotely concerned and told us we didn't even have to rush to try have kids now and could keep waiting. My wife is probably 2-3 years away from wanting one but she seems to be fine with if she can't have one then it is what it is. I've tried to suggest escalating her timeline and looking into options now just in case but she doesn't seem concerned. If we never have kids I'd be fine with it but I want to make sure she's fine with that too as a worst case scenario for her.

I think the craziest part of this is that from what I've read, this was planned for a while rather than a reactionary thing. So even when Ainge knew he was on the way out, he was still unwilling to make trades.

Have to try surround Tatum and Brown with better fitting pieces combined whilst hoping some younger players take the next step. So many rookie contract guys right now who aren't amounting to even rotational players. Langford and Nesmith may take a step though.

I think if they can offload Kemba for a better fitting piece they should but may be hard to find that piece.

They probably should have tried getting Vucevic but Ainge was never going to top the Bulls offer. Ainge seems to have fallen into the trap of what most fans do in overvaluing the assets they have. They must have had countless opportunities to convert those picks / players into something that would help win more now but always stuck with what they had and ended up with a lot of questionable backend roster pieces.

I side with Osaka. Players well being should come before any media duties.

Personally I think players media obligations are ridiculous anyway and nobody should be forced to perform them if they don't want to. Most of the time we just get the standard cliche ridden interviews that tell us nothing of worth anyway. Yes it may affect the money but shouldn't players have that choice? Maybe some would be fine with less overall money in return for less media obligations but right now they aren't given that option.

Griffin is a player who I likely would have kept if I had known then what I know now about scrambling QBs. He had a 59.4% passing completion rate (which is the second highest out of all my QBs). Grossman got injured like week 14 or 15 in that 6-10 playoff season and RG3 was the fill in so he actually has a playoff win under his belt. He threw 4 INTs in an important game which was what soured me on him but that was before I knew that scrambling QBs are erratic. I have no idea if he was good at running though as I have no rushing stats for him at all.

I've always regretted keeping McClain over Laurinaitis but McClain was lower OVR and 1 year older so Laurinaitis had a lot better trade value. He's a player I wish I could have kept although the parts I got in return for him were exceptional (Kwame Harris and Levitre iirc)

Meachem was actually pretty consistent for me. Didn't put up the numbers that other teams WR1s do but as far as the Steelers WRs went he was solid

So I guess his YPC was lackluster but the Steelers only put up 2300-2500 passing yards those final 3 seasons

The WR he replaced was Chambers who put up 714 / 2 TDs, 892 / 5 TDs, 1006 / 7 TDs but never played under a scrambling QB and my offense was balanced then rather than run heavy then.

Got to remember KCF prefers young players be either put into established units or groomed behind vets. Thrusting multiple rookies into starting roles on an underperforming team is not something he has ever really approved of. He seems to prefer FAs to fix that.

That and Chris offloaded a good QB for a ton of dead money. So the moves that put him in that position probably weigh down his draft. May have been different if Bridgwater was a bad QB

One of my friends just did 100 miles on foot in 40 hours (target was under 48 hours) last weekend for charity and I was absolutely in awe of his perseverance. The weather was torrid, his feet were fucked and he didn't sleep but he managed it.

I really need to start going back to the gym again. I haven't been since pre COVID too.

The first point was that pools were reserved only for the rich. So yes whilst 40-60k is a lot of money but in the context of middle class vs rich, it isn't. A lot of middle class people will get 40-60k cars financed without blinking an eye.

Like I put zero down on my car and the payment was $670 a month over 5 years. For sure I am middle class.

He bought the house at the height of the boom in 2008 when they gave anyone mortgages. He paid like 600k and they gave him 2 mortgages to make it work (He's not married and it's all in just his name). I don't know his wage but I'd guess 100-150k, I have no idea what it was in 2008 as I didn't meet him until 2014 and he's been a pharmacist as long as I've known him.

Edit: All 8 people in the group I mentioned are probably in the 70-150k bracket.

One of those people I mentioned spent 90k not even building a pool but renovating his existing pool because he loves his house so much. He is obviously the one who who has the 800-900k house. He paid like $600k for it just before the crash in 2008 and has renovated the entire house from top to bottom. He's definitely behind when combining purchase cost and renovations and comparing it to market value. He's a pharmacist for the NICU, I don't know what he earns but I'd guess lower 6 figures.

That's a crazy amount to pay extra just to get a pool, plus all the maintenance. That's why it's reserved for rich people. Anyone middle class would put that into a nicer house or location.

My wife works in real estate and this is absolutely not the case where I live. There is a ton of houses in the 300-500k range in nice areas that have pools. Yes there's maintenance costs but they aren't astronomical.

Out of the 8 people I frequently hang out with who are homeowners (including myself), 5 have pools. 1 has no pool but owns a boat and a hot tub and is on the lake every weekend so didn't want a pool. 2 do not have pools. The valuations of 7 out of the 8 houses are in the 300-500k range and the one outlier is worth 800-900k because it's lakefront. None of the 8 live in a bad area and 4 of those houses are in two of the most desirable areas in Orlando (Windermere and Lake Conway). None of us are rich, we are all in the middle class bracket.

The only reason to not build a pool is because typically a pool adds 10-20k to a house valuation so unless you really love the property it's cheaper to just make a sideways move to a property that has one already.

What? You can get houses with in-ground pools for like 300k

EDIT: It's not like it's crazy expensive to add one either. Average cost is $40-60k.
