Also, I could immediately see how savvy individuals could use this store as a profitable side hustle. I saw shoes for $30. Granted, they looked lame compared to the authentic Jordans people fight over, but $30 for new Nikes made me do a serious double-take considering this is a brand I've always associated as being stupidly expensive.

In the last 31 days I've sold $14500 worth of shoes for ~$3k profit after shipping / ebay fees etc. I basically swing by the store for 30-60 mins every 2-3 days.

Edit: Slightly misleading as the stimulus boostes sales a ton and I did increase my overall stock level. Typically I was making $1700-2000 a month from it before that point

I assume they ship by window. I had one arrive on Saturday, I assume that was the one I got the first window. Then the other I got in window 3 has not shipped yet.

And no I don't flip them for profit. I've gotten 6 total and my combined profit is $69 and that's only because one of my friends insisted on paying me $600 for getting him it and would not take it at cost from me (which is $531 after tax)

Needs to be a clearance store really unless theres a way to get discounts at factory stores that I don't know about. Factory store prices are typically too high to be able to resell at a profit unless there's extra off their clearance section in some sort of sale. Factory store clearance section is significantly pricier than the clearance store pricing.

That's not what I meant. It's an extreme but some people are timid whilat some people are batshit crazy. Put them together in a fight and the batshit crazy one is likely winning even if giving size and weight.

Across a random distribution of 100 people you're going to get mismatches where one person is going to be more willing or go to further extremes than the other. Gender doesn't really factor into that

If we are talking averages then I would say that the average person doesn't know how to fight and is unlikely to have ever been in a fight. So at that point personality probably plays into it a lot.

There's not enough available information but I feel fairly confident in 6+ unless there's shenanigans in matchmaking. If it's random matchups across a random distribution of 25 year olds you would get 6+ and if everyone involved is around the average 25 year old for their gender it's 6+ too.

I'm all for favoring the buyers when there's no evidence but they still favor the buyers even if you can prove they are lying.

Yeah, I have a little over 500 sales and there's like 4 which left me feeling wronged.

2 were returned defective when in perfect condition leaving me out shipping both directions ($35 and $20)

1 was ebay messing up their own authenticity process but refusing to admit it. I physically only had 1 of this item in stock ever. My pictures were of the item not stock photos. Ebay said I sent the wrong size. Item they sent back matched what they said but did not match my photos. I only had 1 of the item in stock so it was physically impossible for me to have photographed what I did and it also be the item they sent back to me.

1 was a guy claiming item did not match the photos. Bad contrast or something made it look a slightly different color on his screen than what it was. Even though the description and details and style code all specified the color of the item (he thought a black item was green). I had to refund him but he did at least pay return shipping.

There's been some close calls with USPS potentially losing items but they always worked themselves out in the end.

I'd also add that the way ebay treats sellers is complete shit. Everything goes in the buyers favor.

If you ever order an item where the seller doesn't accept returns then just mark it defective. Regardless of whether it's defective or not ebay forces the seller to take the return and pay return shipping. Once the seller gets the item back even if it's not defective ebay says seller now has the item therefore the buyer gets fully refunded. Ebay then won't do anything about the seller having to foot the bill for the return either. Had it happen multiple times to me and ebay never refunds my shipping costs, they just shrug their shoulders and say 'Every buyers expectations is different. What they consider defective may not be defective to you'. This applies to brand new items in perfect condition

Honestly I'd sell elsewhere if there was a better option.

Not how ebay resolution center works. Once an item is refunded, there's no way to reverse it or reopen the case

I sell on ebay quite frequently (~10k a month in $100 items). I currently have a request open from a buyer for a similar but not quite as bad timeframe thing. He bought from me on Feb 19th, I shipped same day, last postage scan says Feb 24th and delayed. It's going from Florida to Hawaii so I'm guessing it's stuck waiting for a plane somewhere or is in a Hawaii sorting office.

He wants an update by Mar 12th otherwise a full refund. I am fairly certain he's going to get his refund then the item turns up later.

With your timescale, the seller can probably claim insurance if it doesn't show up soon. Not sure what timescale is in Japan but here the post office wants 60 days before doing anything on an insurance claim. He may have also just refunded you because I believe ebay only lets you open up and deal with requests like that for 60 days after purchase (least feedback can only be left for 60 days after purchase)

My main issue with the US budget is and always will be the ridiculous military budget. There is zero excuse for the military budget being more than the next 10 highest spending countries combined.

Only if you order more than 2 at the same time maybe? I've ordered multiple from Walmart and never had one cancelled but never ordered more than one from the same drop.

I have 2 extra PS5s disc versions right now because I was helping friends get them. 1 of them got his own and the other changed his mind

Walmart is easy to get them if you use the app, ignore the first drop but leave it on the add to cart screen and then hammer the button as soon as it ticks over to the next drop. Its the refreshing to get the add to cart button back that screws most people

Edit: You can also apparently add to list and then add to cart from there but when I tried that method a couple of months back it never worked as the add to cart never appeared on my list page

Also seems Welkin ticks down even when you don't log in which makes sense given how other games operate with similar schemes but still feels like you're getting fucked by not getting what you paid for.

Can now confirm you do not get Welkin bonus if you don't log in. Logged in today and Welkin now down to 10 days. In total I've missed ~20 days of Welkin so 1800 primos. I definitely had 2k+ primos previously and now I have 2434 so impossible for me to have gotten 1800 primos

Do you really have issues on ebay? I've sold 500 items in the last 6 months and I've only had 2 issues and in both instances I got the item back, I just had to refund the buyer and eat shipping both directions. Buyer was wrong in both instances (flagged defective to force return when it wasn't and ebay basically shrugs their shoulders and say you have the item back so it's fine but don't take into account the lost shipping fees)

I only had 20 days of welkin left when I logged in today. I don't know what it was the last time I logged in but for sure it wasn't that low, it was like 27-31 range as I did double Welkin during Ganyu. I could work it out from my PSN receipts I'm sure.

Now it's possible it gave me more than the 90 it said it gave me, I didn't check. I don't know how many primos I had before today but I could make a decent guess that would be well within the 600-900 I missed. I'll check when I get home.
