Just heard @Lakers offered @Pacers either Jordan Clarkson or Julius Randle and 27, 28 pick for Paul George.

I think the issue with that trade is that another team would be able to beat it.

Broadcasters here want the Magic to chase him but we literally did this same shit last year. Granted George is a lot better than Ibaka but we also had a hope of re-signing Ibaka whereas that isn't going to be true for George unless we won a lot. Which we won't.

Nevermind, I'm wrong. Not all contracts are fully guaranted. Fringe players sometimes have non-fully guaranteed contracts but typically they are the contracts that are peanuts.

All NBA contracts are fully guaranteed afaik. Rookie contracts are friendly, it's the FA bad contracts that cripple teams. Like the Knicks have Joakim Noah on 17m a year for the next 3 years, they have no way to get out of that other than a team taking him in a salary dump.

There should be a way for the player to still get his money but the team to take a lesser hit on their books if they cut him.

I know some contracts can be taken off the books but I think it requires players to retire or not be medically cleared for a number of years or something

NBA money being fully guaranteed kinda stifles a lot of trades. Bad contracts just absolutely cripple teams, there should be at least some way out without eating it all in dead money

It's a deep draft this year so they're more worthwhile than most years but yeah, always tricky relying on trading picks for players. I guess you're half looking for teams with bad salary situations where rookie contracts help them out

From what they are saying on the local Orlando radio, the caveat to Porzingis being dangled out there is that whoever wants him also has to take on the Noah contract.

That's is a pretty fucking big caveat! I think he's still on the hook for 17m a year for 3 more years

2. Work and personal. Although personal isn't always every day, sometimes a few times a week.

First couple of times I played through the game I didn't even realize there was a switch for the gate in that file and always brute forced it with Ramza or had people who could target Gaff through the gate when lured.

When I finally realized the switch existed I was like 'Shit, well that makes that fight so much easier'

FFT is my favorite game and is unlikely to ever be topped.

I did. Been playing in early access but not much, only up to 64 so far.

I'm on ragnarok but will likely transfer once congestion dies down. For now being on ragnarok works great for me (EU server and I'm in the US)

KCF told me which positions don't rotate but I don't remember them all. I know it was QBs, Ks and Ps but I want to say there was another. Probably FB and something else

From talking to KCF this year, the rookie bump is basically non existent. If your ass isn't playing then you're unlikely to go up in rating, maybe up 1 or something. You have to be playing to go up in rating but a lot of positions naturally rotate some some rookies get limited snaps from rotation to get that little bump.

But you could also literally be a 60 rated UDFA and eventually work your way up to 99 if given the playing time and performance warranted it. Unlikely but possible.

I actually have a rookie this year that has declined in rating from not playing and not like he was a low round scrub. Was a mid-high 3rd iirc

When a friend does this for college football weekends for like 4-6 of us he provides a keg on draft, plus like 12 bottles in the fridge plus a few spirits and mixers laying around.

He does it every weekend so a lot of stuff just rolls over each week and then people turn up with either nothing or a 6 pack every now and again

Can't wait for the 7-9 AFC North champion to meet a 14-2 / 13-3 wildcard team

Oh boy, you're giving this game a try now? Well honestly I'd say the one character you should roll for is Tilith. I think she's considered the best healer in the game right now and she's a limited character. You can only get her while the Brave Frontier collab is going on.

Thankfully, she's only a base 4*, unfortunately she shares the banner with 2 other crappy 4*s, splitting your odds, and you're still very likely the pull off-banner characters, so you still need a good deal of luck to even get her.

I've burned like 25 tickets so far and still haven't gotten her. In fact, I've only pulled 1 banner character from that and I've gotten several off-banner 4*s.

Brave Exvius has just been an outlet of my bad luck.

My phone died over the weekend so I had to get a new one. I'm waiting for people to restore my accounts on other games so figured I'd give this a try whilst I wait on support (mainly A Team support for Valkyrie Connect)

Seems fairs to me. I'd say Ugoh is basically a 2nd/3rd talent if he's an 81 after 2 years with limited play. Hard to judge as it depends on team performance too. It's basically like giving up 2 high 3rds for a very low 1st

Like I've never been in a bad financial situation but I'm not sure it counts as being privileged when that's entirely down to my own decisions. I worked full-time during college to ensure I didn't rack up debt. I stayed with the same company after graduating and worked ridiculously hard in order to move up the ladder. Then I did stupid long hours after moving up the ladder and also kept tenure with the same company (been there since I was 18). I also opted not to have children for financial (and free time) reasons.

So it's not like someone just handed me the money whilst I slacked off. I had to sacrifice the bulk of my 20s for it. Plus it was contributing factor in my marriage failing (not the only thing but those long work hours were definitely what started it)

I am sorely tempted to throw in my rookie QB even though I know it's a terrible idea when I'm nursing my division lead and have a tough next 4 games.

It's not even that Grossman has been bad (last game aside, he's been half-decent this season) but he just so clearly isn't the future. And my O-line isn't awful so Griffin would be somewhat protected.

These Florida topics always trigger me because you can guarantee every time a Florida topic is made, people are going to hate on Florida when it's not even that bad.

I've lived here for 5 years now. I regularly get sent around the states with work and the vast majority of places are way worse than Florida. And I know that isn't just my opinion as we fly new employees in from all states to be trained by me and the same question comes up from new hires every single class. 'Can I transfer to Florida in future?'

Oof, starting Tackle was already out until Wk17 but wasn't overly pessimistic about it as it meant my 1st rounder got playing time. 1st rounder plays like 1 or 2 games and then gets injured until post season. Lame!

3 1st rounders and it's possible none of them see improvement lol. Probably a point here or there at least...hopefully!

I'd say the difference between Ulti and Maria here is that this is the first time I've seen Maria say he was unlucky. And not even in a whiny or angry fashion, was just in a 'hey I just realized this' way. Whereas Ulti posted complaining about bad luck and RNG like 30+ times a topic.

Your statistical improbability also happens. I posted proof of me going 100+ pulls without a 5* in Fire Emblem Heroes where you have a ~6% chance of a 5* per pull (that also increases by 0.5% for every 5 pulls without one but resets each banner). So the chance of going 100+ pulls without a 5* are incredibly slim.

At some point it's going turn around but yeah it's rough right now.
