The game actually was telling me to go to a public event so me and like 2-3 others took out a servitor and got some loot.

Just had a horrific experience in crucible. Started a competitive match for the quest. Survival popped. Team member bails immediately. We have to play 4v3 for 4 rounds where we just get crushed.

But the other player is being essentially punished for having a large amount of minions on the board. I am probably just overreacting for one play, but I had full momentum to win that game until the rng took the only card that could have turned things around for him.

The more I think about it, how has mind control tech not been addressed at some point? I played a priest and he had to use all 10 mana to mind control my 8/5 giant, which I was then able to make a counter play against. Mind control tech only uses 3 mana so you can play other cards for a huge swing. I know it won't happen every time (my other minions were mostly totems), but it just seems like it should have a limitation. Maybe only take minions with a certain attack or health?

I am irritated when I get punished for playing well.

I clear his board with a Kalimos invocation (in arena, no less), and then my Kalimos gets stolen by a 3 cost mind control tech.

You know that weird Harmonix-Hasbro collaboration that has physical cards and a NFC reader thing?

...It was actually a ton of fun. It isn't super deep, but it has some interesting strategy and also makes some interesting songs along the way.

I may have preordered a base set.
