Just the fact they were all scientologists means none of them have any credibility in my eyes. Throw the case out and they can all go and rethink their lives. Besides..when you are in a cult, weird cult shit is going to happen and just because you regret it a decade or two down the line doesn't mean you can twist events to make you look like a victim.

This reminds me of that sex trafficking cult shit from some of the Smallville cast, Allison Mack (Chloe). Its just hard to believe that these people would do that kind of stuff.

Gear helps but actually I found the biggest advancement to my combat prowess and survivability was mastering block/parry timing. There are enemies that can tear you up easily if you don't have a good block/parry or dodge/kiting game going on no matter what your armor is.

If you like burgers. You should take a little trip to Scoopers Drive-In while in the area. When I used to live there (many many years ago) they were the best burger joint. Al burger and Chili Cheese Fries were my go to.

Just a little ways out of town was also a Casino called Boomtown. They were the only place around that had 3D motion theatre rides and one of the biggest arcades around as well (rivaled Circus Circus) That is fun to.

My friend and I were both eyeballing Valheim and my friend bought two copies of the game for us. I threw together a server PC solely to run a dedicated server for the two of us and we've been playing religiously since. I've got like 300 hours in the game now. This is the thing I've been working on as of late. Mainly while my friend is not playing. Castle Drakebane. Other than like part of the fence and their room decorations I built every thing in the castle.

Anyone else playing?

Yep. Company loyalty is a crock. No company cares about you, they'll put on a front the whole time and talk big about how they care about their employees, but as soon as you are not economically viable, they will boot your ass out the door without shedding a tear. As someone that has been laid off like 4 times now in life, I know this fact all too well. So a random employee having "company loyalty" is just a moronic thing to fall victim to. Caring for something that couldn't give two shits about you. And for most people that so called loyalty is paper thin as well. Most people wouldn't work some place if they had wealth to begin with.

This is why I give no fucks about my companies wider happenings, they have company meetings or send out emails to talk about their growth and how well they are doing. I don't give two shits. I only care about what directly impacts my job, the functions of my job. I am merely there to do a certain set of tasks satisfactory enough to get a paycheck to pay my bills. And at this point I just expect that at some point in the future be it weeks, months or years at some point they will lay me off like so many have prior.

6 people out of nearly 7 million people got a blood clot in the weeks following the vaccine. They aren't even sure if the vaccine played any part in it and even if it did that is over a 1 in a million chance of it happening.

It's not "linked" to anything yet. They are being "overly cautious" and are pausing the shot to investigate these 6 cases to see if the vaccine was related and why...

The whole thing is just dumb. Shouldn't have been pulled.

Why must we do this

I'll be working till the day I die, no retirement for me. On the bright side, due to my poor health, no way I have that many years remaining.

Assuming you never caught it, were you that vulnerable to begin with?

Well I'm in a high risk group with a number of health conditions that put me in the group that are more likely to have severe complications/death if I do get covid. Not that I would have those complications, hell maybe covid wouldn't affect me much, but I might. But I'm also a hermit (long before covid) and don't mingle with people much so I'm not exposed as much.

This overreaction with J&J vaccine is ridiculous. 6 people out of over 6 Million happen to get blood clots after getting the vaccine. Probably not even in relation to the vaccine even if it did cause it, that is such a minuscule percentage...

I was scheduled to get J&J today. When scheduling for a vaccine all the places around me were moderna and pfizer, but the city hosting a event at the speedway for J&J it is literally way across the city but I figured it would be worth the extra driving and me getting lost (I don't know that area of town) for a one and done. Then literally 24 hours prior to my visit they pull J&J and send me an email saying they are giving me moderna instead.

I'm not driving across the city for Moderna and then have to go back in 3 weeks for a 2nd shot, I could have had my 1st shot of moderna at a nearby Kroger grocery store already had they not pulled this bullshit. So I just cancelled my appt today and rescheduled a moderna closer to the house at a Walmart location nearby. But its not until May 5th and thats just the 1st dose.

Pisses me off cause I should be fully vaccinated today... 6 people out of over 6 million cancels the J&J, its fucking dumb.

can you play half life alyx on that thing?

Absolutely. With the Link Cable and a good PC to run it from, yes. The Quest 2 is the first one to run its own game library from its internals, but if you get the cable you are able to play all Steam VR games on it, it just uses the PC to run the game just like Vive and Steams units. I've been thinking of buying Alyx.. I really should I hear its absolutely amazing and I love Half Life

Picked up the Quest 2 (256gb) last Saturday, wanted a VR unit for so long, my first experience with it, been having a blast all week. Got Vader: Immortal series as my first games, beat that so good. Now I'm playing Lies Beneath and Moss. Have to say both are absolutely amazing. Picked up a 3rd party link cable, some cable pulleys and of course this
awesome VR stand. With Occ Link and Steam VR I also went through my game library on my PC and have a handful of VR capable games. Minecraft, No Mans Sky, Subnautica and Phasmophobia.

Do you have a VR unit? Have you tried VR at all yet?

Looking to treat myself what should I get?

So got a bit back from taxes and I was thinking of treating myself to something, I wanted to upgrade to a 3060ti but I can't get a video card upgrade for my PC because of the massive shortage (not buying one at scalper prices). So I was looking further down the list at other things I want. Figure I can get some other thoughts and opinions to help me come to a decision.

My phone is old, slow and has the worse camera known to man and I want to be able to take amazing pictures of my fur babies if I can but I don't need or want top tier I'm thinking mid range with excellent camera. So I'm looking at the Pixel 4a 5G. (I'm using a Galaxy J7 Prime right now lol)

I've wanted a VR kit since the very first Occulus. The index..looks amazing but $1000? For that much it would need to come with eggplant stimulation sensors. Now with the Quest 2 its very affordable. I could have one here by Sunday and be playing Half Life Alyx or start a new game of Subnautica but in VR.

Nintendo Switch, something else I've wanted since it came out but never got around to it as I always end up pouring the money into my main gaming source, my PC. There's a few games on there I want to play but it would never be may main system, so I generally talk myself out of this.

So basically its form fitting. She's got a nice body.. This made the teacher feel a certain way and he decided to humilate and punish her for it. I have zero issues with him "feeling a certain way" its perfectly natural. I mean she's 17 going on 23 in those photos. Its his response that is so immature.

Dude just go home and if you have a lady, get with her and release that tension if not grab some lotion and take care if it. She isn't showing skin and its certainly not her fault having a female body... being well female.
