You'll generally only find three types if people who can simply not give a fuck, at least in my opinion.

1: Egostical jerks who portray themselves as super nice.

2: Sociopaths.

3: People who have been through hell, and have become numb to it.

I fall into the 3red category. I went through so much stuff as a kid with horrible family things going on, I just eventually stopped caring. Damaged goods.

I see nothing like that, and I tend to view 50+ a day. Just start hitting "Don't recommend" and you'll clear it right up. It throws things at you based on your viewing habits, after all.

Just from that little clip there, it sounds like school staff wanted the student to come with them, he refused. They wanted him removed, he refused.

SRO tried repeatedly to get him to get his stuff and leave, he refused.

I'm finding it hard to feel any real sympathy for the student here just from what was shown.

Prosecutors dont like to go after things they arent sure they can win on, because it hurts their record and doesn't look as good for career advancement. By getting a defendant to accept a plea deal, it still comes off as a win record-wise for the prosecutor.

Does IF improve for someone who wasn't enjoying it early?

Kinda. It can be fun tweaking your massive battle party to flow well, but the battles never really feel like they require you to do anything more than spam Double Slash...which is not only the first move you learn, but tends to be the best the entire game oddly enough.

Zaku II has always been my favorite mobile suit. Nice design, great versatility, and could be customized and outfitted for almost any combat style for any pilot.

I love and have replayed every Star Ocean game aside from IF. I actually recently tried replaying IF and while it wasnt as bad as when I originally played through it, I still ended up dropping it about halfway in.

Honestly, having played the demo for Valkyrie Elysium and being saddened by it, I'm not expecting to be wowed by this demo either.. I accepted that Tri-Ace was going to be mostly low budget and dead when it was bought by a mobile game developer 7 years ago.

The trailer looked way too action packed for what I wanted...

I'm hoping it was just normal shite trailer, though..

I've honestly loved both of the new movies. Easily takes up spots 2 and 3 for my favorites in the series.

I'll probably get it on a sale at some point. The demo was fun, I liked everything about it except for one massive thing..

Time limits per battle for best rank. They weren't challenging, but they dont let me play as I like to play games. I prefer turn based and strategy games for a reason, I dont get enjoyment out of "go go go" games.

Literally uses the same system as FFX, including the changing characters mid-battle. Is actually a pretty solid game too, with a good number of challenging side content.

Some people still tend to try and think the best of people until proven wrong. The fact we live in a world where that can be viewed as strange is a sad thing.

Your grandma sounds like a saint. What happened after you moved out with her and your mom, if you don't mind sharing?

After about half a year, my mom moved her into an assisted care home. Which showed me just how bad my mother had been. See, she had moved out and left me in the house with my grandmother, while she moved in with her new husband whom we "rented" the house from. Always low on food, because she took my grandmother's money for rent and bills, she claimed.

But after I left, she not only afforded that, but I found she also had yearly passes to Disney and went every month. We lived fairly close to it in Florida. Unfortunately, the day I left in 2009 in December was the last time I saw her in person, and she passed away several years ago.

My mother did much the same. From the age of 15 to 21, she constantly told me I wouldnt be able to do anything, or hold down any job.

She didnt want me to leave, because she didnt want to take care of her mother/my grandmother, who was unable to walk. For 6 years, i was basically held an emotional and mental prisoner, being the only one taking care if my grandmother.

My grandmother felt so bad, and was the one who convinced me to leave when I was 21, and it was the best thing for me. So many of my issues and self imposed/expected limitations melt away within years. Probably would have been faster if I had sought some counseling, but, too stubborn for that.

Sometimes, it's best to bite that bullet and run.

Most of Aldis brand stuff is pretty good for the price.

Not their hotdog chili though. Its terrible.

Me and the wife love it. I had to watch the first 3 episodes, then force her to watch the first one. She fell victim to all of the out of context clips and screencaps people were using to bash it, and was adamant that it was god awful.

She admitted she was wrong after the first episode, and we've both enjoyed it so far.

Ok. It's not a scathing critique of Mixed Middle Earth. It's doing what other culture editorials do: find both sides of the argument and presents them. The tweet is pretty bad at presenting this.

You act like the tweeter actually read the article and didn't just see a headline they could easily mislead on to sate their lust to be righteous.

I would show my shocked face, but its become my default face after the last few years.

Fair. That is an easy out for lazy locations. I got a manager fired for that before one time. I went to help out another location by request of my GM. I get there, start my process of checking everything I have...got into the back refrigerator and started finding stacks of expired product. When I can smell bad spinach through its sealed bags, something's wrong.

I took out everything, stacked it and made a list. Sent it to my GM. That manager was gone days later.

My ex used to work for Subway, she made it sound terrible. Plus the things she told me, could never eat Subway again lol.

I'm curious to know what things she told you, because having worked there for years, I cant think of anything that would turn someone away. Of course, since it's nothing but franchise owners, some no doubt take huge shortcuts.

I luckily worked for a large grouping with about 300 locations.

You become noseblind to it within a month.

Subway was honestly my favorite job I've had when the management/team were good. After years of being there, when new management took over, it crashed and burned and I got out pretty fast. Have a much better paying job now, with great benefits, but Subway was still the job I had the most fun at. Was fun making sandwiches, oddly enough.

Loved National Sandwich Day, when it was just pure chaos (100+ subs per hour). But yeah, Subway has a higher turnover rate than average fast food places. There is a lot of prep work out of sight that you have to take care of, and some locations strict enforcement of the "productivity chart" often leaves places understaffed when it gets busy.

Mine works fine. Same options and everything from what I can tell.

I love both series, so I backed within the first hour of launch for the physical combo. I plan to drop more money depending on what they add to add ins/backer kit.
