But Ive driven a small car for the last 15+ years where I have pretty good vision out the back from the rear view mirror. I have genuine low level anxiety about finding myself in a situation where the rear mirror is useless. I think Tool is likely very high up as well. Also, do the cardio that works for you. I hate running but love going for long walks. I used Dual Stick since camera control on the right stick feels right...but then again I hate playing shooters with gamepads. Pointer had promise too but something about moving view with the gryo was weirding me out. The other 2 options just felt completely unnatural in 2023. I had some glitches playing this. Not sure if it was just my old ass PC. Certainly the intermittent graphical artifacts were likely from that. But then there was being unable to sit to milk the goats without restarting the scene. And some wacky dialog displays during the phone conversations. Ah well, doesn't really matter. This isn't one I'm ever going to play again. But your point about Supergiant Games design philosophy is spot on. They manage to do what few games do and make you experiment with different approaches, rather than just sticking with the "tried and true" or min/maxing a particular strategy. I quickly learned that needing to change the pairing when switching devices was a pain worth avoiding. I'd love to be able to use one of those backbone style controllers (like the one linked earlier in the topic) but all the ones for iPhone don't work with phone cases on, so fuck that.
