The proper way to innovate a franchise is to make changes without straying too far from what people loved about it in the first place. People loved Sonic because of the high speed platforming. With annoying gimmicks like fishing, shooting, treasure hunting, brawling, slow platforming, etc the devs strayed too far from that. It's also annoying how the games keep on introducing all these new characters. Fuck, no more new characters. Sonic, Eggman, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Metal Sonic, Cream and even Rouge are fine to have around. The rest? lol get rid of them --- Sad! |
