LMAO, no. City Escape isn't just the most iconic level of SA2; it's one of the most iconic levels of the whole franchise. It stays.

And seriously, Mad Space? Easily the worst level in SA2. Tropical Resort is the space level on my stage list, so no need for any other space levels.

Alright, I was wrong. Chemical Plant and Hydro City are too similar. Hydro City was actually based on Chemical Plant, too. Having both of them is redundant, and since Chemical Plant is more iconic, Hydro City's gotta go.

Sure, Ice Cap's original Genesis music could neither be used nor remixed in the game due to legal issues, but the people behind the soundtrack could have just come up with original music that sounds similar to it without plagiarizing it. Lego Dimensions did so:

Let's face it, Ice Cap is undeniably one of the most iconic levels in the whole franchise. People mainly like it for the level itself; most people would have been happy to see it Generations even if the original music couldn't be used. Forget about remaking one of Ice Cap's cheap knockoffs from subsequent Sonic games; Sonic 3's Ice Cap should have been remade.

And since I've decided to include Ice Cap in my stage list, there's no need for White Acropolis. Replacing that with Kingdom Valley. Kingdom Valley is certainly one of the most iconic Sonic 2006 levels.

Nah, Tropical Resort is a lot more representative of Colors, being the very first level in that game, being where most of the cutscenes in that game took place and being the center of Eggman's Interstellar Amusement Park. Place, the level itself is a carnival. This game was to celebrate Sonic's 20th anniversary, so it's very logical for a carnival level to be the final level

Chemical Plant is an industrial factory whereas Hydro City is an undeground ancient ruin place with a ton of water. like, literally only the similarity they have is that there's water, even though chemical plant has way less. the level design is waaaay different too. what, you think they're super similar because they both have a loops and corkscrews (something practically any sonic level have)? c'mon dawg

Sounds better than the actual Generations tbqh. I would change Chemical Plant with something else though. I love that stage and its soundtrack, but feels too similar to Hydrocity in a lot of ways imo.

Literally the only similarity they have is that they have underwater sections, which isn't much of a similarity at all
