And on the flip side, Russia today claimed that they had "no choice" but to take over a larger part of Ukraine than previously planned to push back the long range weaponry that they've been given, expanding the regions that they're claiming their liberating to include the southern parts of the country where they're likely to hold a referendum in the near future and try and take kherson the way they took crimea.

Which, if they do that, is where things start to get really dangerous. Russia claimed they wouldn't use anything nuclear unless they considered it an existential threat, but the question they haven't answered is if ukraine starts lobbying mortars into a recently annexed part of their own country does Russia consider that an attack on their home soil and thus an existential threat?

I believe it. The factory I work in is not air conditioned and we've already had 35 people drop from heat exhaustion or dehydration.

Saint Louis has a yearly small regional Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention called Archon. It has around 1500 to 2000 people but it has a hospitality suite with free beer and a dance party with a dj in the one of the ballrooms. If you can't get laid there, you aren't meant to get laid.

I never got to partake because I was already engaged when I started going but the amount of people hooking up every year is insane.

No, its not. I wish people would stop trying to ham-fist the immigration slogan into this issue. Cruelty was definitely the point when the GOP was trying to send a message with their immigration policy. Cruelty is not the point when it comes to their abortion policies. Its a side effect of them being convinced that theyre morally right and refusing to listen to the negative consequences.
