A kevlar vest will stop handgun rounds and shotgun shells. An AR-15 is the superior choice for home defense. nobody wearing that is coming to your home unless they're the police. we're getting further and further from reality, now... you don't need to justify having an AR. "because I think they're dope" is an acceptable explanation and doesn't require any more explanation than that. but there's no practical reason why they should be used for home defense in modern America unless you're defending your home against the Feds. you'll just end up like Christopher Dorner, though. not a good look. --- Never let those intent on misunderstanding you be the narrator to YOUR story!
