All things being equal, height does also tend to affect reach, hand size and weight as well. Like the old saying goes, you cant teach height. I dont think its a minor issue that, as good they were, there really have only been a handful of short pro players in the modern era. I'm not trying to downplay height. If youre below 63 you basically have to play point guard which is the deepest position in the league. Theres also point guards that are like 66-68 now like Lonzo, Ben Simmons, Cade Cunningham who just went #1.
