Criticism isn't attack...I have been insulted regularly here, people aren't modded, I don't really care. It all depends on the severity of insult. I usually get modded when I cross the line from criticism to flat out offensive insult.

The past few times I went into specifics was when mods starting banning my accounts. Given that I'm down to almost none, proving my point (which people have seen in the past) -- when it makes no difference -- is hardly worth the risk.

There's a portion of posters on the site who know the kind of nonsense I go through and another portion who no amount of evidence would convince.

Give a general idea instead of going into specifics. I really find that it completely depends how I discuss it afterwards. I've been modded for explaining my moderation too explicitly, for sure.

I get modded a decent amount and it's usually reasonable. I'm usually being pretty insulting.

hard to judge the situation when you're not saying what you got modded for. I always just talk about it after without repeating the offense.

last time I got suspended was for posting a cartoon of a giant cock with someone pouring apple cider vinegar on it in the "montana man" topic.

The movie "Maximum Overdrive" was released in 1986 and isn't even 40 years old. I'm under 50 and imagine that there are those in their 30's or younger that have seen the movie. I remember this movie from my childhood (around 8 when the movie was released). I'm really not sure why you think only those 60 and older know of it.
