I can't remember how long the January 6th trial was expected to last.

Honestly, I feel like the SCOTUS will ultimately rule against Trump in this instance. Even on its face, the argument is absolutely absurd and there's not a single convincing argument (even in bad-faith) for presidential immunity.

The problem is that they should have just let the lower court's ruling stand. The only reason they took this case at all is to help Trump delay the trial.

As a country, we should just collectively pretend like the Supreme Court doesn't exist. Fuck them.

Deadpool didn't start out as a fun fouth wall breaker. He started asa Deathstroke rip off.

Even in his very early appearances he was breaking the fourth wall, though the added goofiness didn't kick in until the late 90s/early-2000s IIRC

So was the first film. And if you compare the trailers they arent even close in quality. Little wall breaking and the jokes actually flowed well and organically into the story and narrative. Which was the same for the movie.

Here though? Its bordering on kind of cringe in my opinion.

Deadpool was always cringe though, which is part of the charm. That's why every movie thus far (including this one) has a straight man for him to play off of.
