Definitely a worthy winner! It always bothered me that the movie had all these interesting monster ideas but the main one chosen was the most generic. I was happy to eliminate that zombie family immediately.Yeah I saw that and I thought "I see what you're doing". And I mostly agree! There are a few more that I would say is just as bad or worse in how generic they are. And I think partially they might want to choose a relatively simple since it's already a pretty unexpected movie otherwise. But that's why I'm doubly sad we don't get to see more of these! Ah well, perhaps one day... --- God has heard my soul. |

Angry Molesting Tree! https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/1/1e655507.jpg This monster is probably a direct reference to The Evil Dead (both the original and remake), where a woman is attacked and intimately assaulted by possessed trees. The tree also kills or devours some victims instead of assaulting them. Stories of man-eating or otherwise dangerous trees predate film. Some literary examples include "The Flowering of the Strange Orchid" (1894) by H. G. Wells and the legendary "Yatevo" tree featured in a number of horror stories of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. | Raka_Putra 03/27/24 5:36:43 PM #35 | Went with Gen VII in the end. Marowak, Mimikyu, and Decidueye are just too good. Marshadow is one of the better mythicals IMO and with an interesting typing. Blacephalon is one scary mfer but I respect what it has going on for it.
Aegislash and Chandelure are also really, really good and I used them back in their respective gens but they can't carry their generation. I'm just 'okay' with their genmates. Also I'm not voting for anything with Hoopa in it. --- God has heard my soul. |

Yeah, I don't actually listen to a lot of non-showtune songs so I try to vary my nominations a bit with what other songs I like. So that's why my nominations usually look like that haha.
