So a weapon with normal damage and water damage isnt necessarily stronger than a weapon with just normal damage even if the normal+water damage adds up to a bigger number?

if its the same weapon type with the same raw then yeah one having water will do more as long as the monster isnt immune to water. in general raw is better than element (especially on slower weapons) so when in doubt always go bigger raw

How many of the slots are just the same characters in different modes? Super Saiyan Goku, Blue Goku, and Goku are separate characters on the select screen.

the 2 blues and adult gohan

the blues have different movesets and gohan at least has a unique mode (not sure on his moveset)
