I guess I might try to play a Digimon game one of these days. I hated the cartoon for trying to encroach on Pokemon's absolute authority back in the days. Oh the battles that were had to claim dominance of the playgrounds. I had brothers in arms.

When I was a kid, I loved both of them. Nowadays, I find myself growing a bit irritated with how Pokemon wants to seemingly resist improving for the better in their games. Like I no longer hold out any hope that the battle frontier will show up ever again. Meanwhile the Digimon games are at least trying, the srpg gameplay of survive is to me an effort to try out new waters.

But yes, please play a Digimon game. Myself, I liked Digimon World 3 and the card battle game that were on the PS1.

Huh, they're already announcing Digimon Survive's localization. Not much to go on now, but I'm already liking the theme song. Personally would like to see the series' horror element be cranked up a bit, with the promotional material suggesting a serious story and all.

Well, I'm now mildly hyped for Survive after hearing about it.

I've been mostly playing Shadowrun: Dragonfall over the past few days and I have to say that it does capture the shadowrun spirit. You run a team, each with their own strengths, and do missions to get paid. You can have a number a ways to handle a mission, and some ways are made easier or even possible based on your stats. Oh, and there are plenty of ways for runs to go bad too with just adds to the flavor.

All in all, I approve of it and anyone who likes squad based turn based RPGs and tactics games who hasn't played it should play it.

What's your first character gonna be?

I don't know, I'll need to look to see how the game is different from the tabletop version that I know about it. All I know is that if I have a choice, I likely will pick a race that isn't human.

I'm a little upset that none of us have died yet. That's part of the fun.

Sorry, I'm just skilled at XCOM with all the times I played it. I'm sure sooner or later at least one of us will die. There have been more than a few close calls though.

The girls of GGO are DLC characters in it. Yes, you can have a party with Fuka. They have their own sidestory and stuff.

And if you have the first DLC (They came in a patch), you might even get to fight simulations of them in the BoBS simulations fights they have. And also, Pito and M are also with them.
