Okay, I'm curious now...what's so appealing about monster hunter? (I don't mean that in any negative way, I just want to know why you guys like it so much.) For reference, I've played none of the games and all the knowledge I have on the series is that you hunt monsters and that there's a few different kinds of weapons to pick from to do so.

I wouldn't mind Gamefaqs doing maintenance more often if it mean more quirky things like refresh-a-don. I must have refreshed at least 20-30 times during the course of it...

Yup, it was announced during the delayed announcement day this year. MaRo talked about it in detail at SDCC recently if you would care to learn more(I've got links).

I don't really want a link right now, thank you though for the offer. I just wonder what they're going to do about it? Are they going to add in cards that you literally rip them up like other cards in past un-sets? Maybe they might add cards that force the players to play sub-duels or play up an ante like more 'normal' cards that where printed back in Magic's earliest days that are no longer being used? And what are the chances of at least one card in the set that makes someone say something very odd that they normally wouldn't say? Is it time for MaRo to become a Planeswalker card? Any other weird ideas that I haven't thought of yet?

Where I stand on the topic of dub vs. sub can quite simply be called 'I don't give a damn, really'. If I can watch a dub, then great. If I have to watch a sub, then that's fine by me. I'm not really picky either way...I much rather enjoy what is there then worry about it not being in my style. There are bad dubs, sure, just like there is bad subs so why view them as anything except two sides of the same coin, which is watching anime.

Ugh, I'm so sick of scattered thunderstorms. Seriously, it goes something like this: Storm comes, I cut off my surge protector, storm passes in around 5-20 minutes, I turn my surge protector back on, another storm comes by in around 30 minutes to an hour or two that forces me to turn of my surge protector again, repeat until nightfall.

Anyway, how are you guys doing today? And what anime are you currently watching? (Yes, it's show and tell time)

That aside, Nintendo won this E3 imo but part of that is also a part of how awful this E3 was this year. Glad I wasn't hyped for it. I mean...really bethesda? Way to get everyone to hate you after paid mods failed in an inferno!

I suppose it's subjective but I agree about the father's most likely being the more emotional of the two. It's definitely fantastic. I've only heard that the brother story is more or less the same

Well brother Nier has a tiny bit more backstory, but papa Nier does has that father-daughter relationship that imo has much more impact given the story than the one brother Nier has with his sister.

Just had to wipe Pascal's memories and now went to the machine village with 9S... Pascal is selling children cores....

Oh since you did that, make sure you buy the machine heads weapons from him if you haven't already. That's the only place for you to get them from. And yeah, that's really heartbreaking.

well, tbh they're actually pretty similar genres in general and a lot of works kinda toe the line between the two.

Yeah, they are pretty similar. I can't recall the exact quote or who it came from but it goes something like this iirc 'Any technology that has advanced far enough can perform the same wonders that magic can'

Also, let's list the setting that we like the best that blend magic and tech. Mine is Shadowrun, or the world that has the matrix, megacorps, and bioware but yet also has elves, magic, and spirits.
