I actually barely scraped by I thought I had a well rounded team, as much as I could without an electric type I thought I had my bases covered I DON"T HAVE AN ANSWER TO GYARADOS! Thanks to Water, Ice isn't super effective, and thanks to Flying, Grass isn't either and I let him gain too much ground, He did Dragon Dance like 3 times. He almost swept my team. Even paralyzed he was faster! and Gary kept using his full Restores on him. Grater was the one that beat him thanks to him having resistances I went back to oak and he FINALLY gave me Rock Climb I have to basically re-roam the earth and rediscover all of the locations Fuck man AND I have passage to Mt Silver RED, I"M COMMIN FOR DAT ASS --- |

The person who owned it before me had 7 badges and I decided to finish his journey for him I got the Earth badge, easy enough, but eventually the elite 4 was a pain in the ass he adopted Zapdos into his team (and taught him Rock Smash) He also has Gravler and Kadabra, who suck without being able to fully evolve. He started out with Bulbasaur and his water is a Poliwrath! I haven't seent hat before. He also had Ice Beam Poliwrath and Zapdos carried the team into victory, but FUCK it was hard as hell. The team was average Level 45 w hen I won, which again, I feel like I shouldn't have been able to pull I didn't see Moltres on victory road so then theres some post game content. Sevi Islands? And apparently they won't let me go into Cerulean Cave other than Mewtwo, do you get anything else out of doing these islands? --- |

I'm reminded of how much of a fluke it was I beat the E4 They're like on Level 60 and I'm still on 40ish BUUUUUUUUUT Stampy, My Manoswine, SWEPT the gym okay maybe not all of the way, he couldn't beat Magneton on his own and he did get KO'D by Electrabuzz but still, I'm proud of him I thought there was gonna be some block or reason on why I couldn't challenge him, but the game just let me right away Theres a bunch of things we take for granted because its a game, but there probably is no "order" these gyms have to be battled in we just think there is because Red/Ash is from Pallet I'm sort of glad this game defied conventions and did not force me to go to Brock first afterall, if you live in Cinnabar, you'd probably be taking on Blane first. Theres no such thing is Levels in the Pokmon World, its about Skill but yea, observations --- |
