Ya know I KNOW I'm being unreasonable here, believe me but again, it just goes back to them seemingly just botching the landing with their ideas. --- |

But I actually thought this game was nothing but Edgeworth and Gumshoe busting heads I didn't think SHE would be your partner a bunch of times. She was....just okay. because of the writing, I could not really see her anything more than just...Ninja Maya because of the way she babblings on about irrelevant crap in an attempt to be funny I DID think her interactions with gumshoe were really sweet. AND I did like how they reinforced Gumshoe is a good man. but heres the thing. The partner system was useless. I was even told by someone early on you literally don't need to talk to them at all. You know how at the start of each case in the OT, you and maya are just standing around in the office and you two compare notes. Its just that but it follows you around. Which is fine, but its weird they introduce this new "system" ...just for that >_> infact, IT WAS PROBLEMATIC in this last case, I decided to look at what the partner had to say, and one of the options was "Agitated Alba" it turned out, I had 3 pieces of logic, and one of them...WAS AGITATED ALBA .....BUT it turns out, I HAD TO COMBINE THE OTHER TWO. I got penalized twice because I tried pairing AA with the other two. The game FUCKING TRICKED ME God damn PARTNERS --- |

And I've been modded for less (just LINKING to a post I made on Twitter one time, for example)) Theres a very slight comparison to Phantasy Star PS2 is one of the worst RPGs I've ever played and I think I'm known for thinking that now I hear PS3 is EVEN FUCKING WORSE BUUUUUUUUUUUT I hear PS4 is like, legit an amazing game. How they HELL do you expect someone to GO THROUGH SO MUCH GARBAGE just to get something good. Its like when people say "Oh yea that show is great but it takes 5 seasons to get good" I know this is a moot argument since I already went through this game, I can enjoy AAI2. But damn, I'm just....so tainted now. and I will NEVER make someone go through Investigations, even if I2 is the best ever And AJ is not great either? People in the stream ALSO told me they have a hard time playing Spirit of Justice too. and I think one of them said they didn't like DD either This series doesn't seem worth it anymore. I'll always have the OT, but its probably time to shelve it (at least for me) --- |

| Punnyz 04/26/21 1:21:38 PM #141 | i've probably said these things many times but, at least from what I recall each game has a part thats really dumb, makes you take a weird jump of logic, or just a part where you get stuck and you overlooked one small detail but, it happens like, once per game THIS game THIIIIS GAME It happens every chapter Some are my fault. I'm like "Oh, I didn't see that part, mah bad" but the point is, it KEEPS happening. Like, this is the 5th game in the series? I know. I get it I understand, I swear They're not gonna keep babying you. If you're playing this game, you're experienced at this point. You're in for the long run. Theyre hitting the ground running but I just feel like, they screwed it up, ya know? This game was just...not fun. The game DID give me an appreciation for Edgeworth. I actually didn't like him that much in the OT, but this game definitely is a study of how he operates and how he thinks. I liked what I saw. He has ALWAYS been a catcher's mitt for jokes and comedy. but the game kept taking me out of it when HE was CONSTANTLY in on the comic relief they just didn't let up on it. I LOVE the comedy of this series! I SWEAR but like "Hmmm, looks like theres some blood here.. Kay:HEY EDGWORTH DO YA THINK THE CURTAINS HERE ARE EXPENSIVE OR SOMETHING LOL" ALL OF THE TIME okay okay okay okay it happens in the originals. I KNOW But, Phoenix and Maya are both morons (in a good way) and they constantly talk to other morons. Its OPEN to it not here --- |

| Punnyz 04/25/21 10:58:23 PM #133 | My memory of what happened is a blur because I streamed twice as long as usual since I was trying really hard to beat it So we have to stop the smugglers now instead of waiting for the next game, despite every plot line being wrapped up, because reasons but the old guy is like "Nah" then Lang shows up and ls like FRANZISKA KILLED THE MASK GUY I got stuck on a certain part because I forgot to inspect the hair sticks after Yew gave them to Kay they had some dirt on them I would've figured out they were used for gardening sooner if I had known that but THEN we find out they were actually crossbow bolts THEN we found out they transported the statues by using a complicated rotary pullies using the ceiling fans wtf I got stuck here too because I actually FIGURED thats what they did, but I presented the wrong statue UGHHHHH then we determined yea, the old guy is the accomplice he transformed into MILITARY MAN and its all arrogant and cocky long story short I thought we were gonna nab him, but he KEPT THE GAME GOING AND THE FUCKING CHAPTER ENDED So THATS Why I was like "I'm gonna keep streaming" so we started cornering him some more, we find out that he had the murder weapon on him in a bouquet so then LARRY BUTZ AND OLDBAG COME BARGING IN, IN FULL COSTUME and were like WE HAVE DECISIVE and and my internet crapped out I'm not joking EVEN FUCKING GOD DOESN"T WANT ME TO BEAT THIS GAME Seriously, REALLy IT DID CUT OUT THERE YOU CAN LOOK AT MY VOD SERIOUSLY THIS IS MY LIFE I can't help but feel theres another chapter after this part too I'm gonna "TRY" to beat it tonight, infact, here in ab it --- |
