Complete character derailments, concentrating on shit that didn't matter, etc. but we're not here to talk about that I'm commenting on that because keeping that inmind, its a Miracle that this movie came out decent and thats pretty much the bottomline, I thought this movie was okay. But rising from the depths of hell that it did, thats way more than we could've ever dreamed for. It was an okay wrap up to things, but it just...I dunno...didn't feel epic. I guess I'm spoiled by Avengers at this point I will say that it gave a good feeling of adventure again. The little missions they were carrying out were fun and filled with action. I will admit, they had me going with Chewie dying. I was like yall chose to do that NOW?! but they pulled his survival out of their asses "lol jk" One thing that DID annoy me about this movie was it should've been called "Rey separates from the group to their chagrin for the 100th time in 2 hours" REY WERE U GOIN I GAWT TO DO DA TING NO REY YA FINN Speaking of Rey, it was interesting that they made her a Palpatine, but I found it much more satisfying when they had her a nobody. Gives the impression you don't have to be born into anything to make a difference. but no, back to that shit. another complaint is that the movie like it was a bunch of payoffs...without the build up. Palpatine is back...okay..why? how? what? when? where? who? que? nani? oh hes just here and hes already got a billion star destroyers with no reason, oh no time to think about that I guess. a big turning point for the rebels is that there were no allies left in the galaxy. So the big hero moment at the end also came out of no where. I felt like that was a 5 minute scene missing where somebody rallied them. I guess Lando could've had some influence but still man. I was very interested in the whys, but I can see they just wanted to delivery eye candy and action to the viewers. speaking of pandering Man, rose don't matter anymore, huh? that makes Last Jedi AN EVEN BIGGER FUCKING WASTE NOW. CHEWIE GOT A FUCKING MEDAL SON. FINALLY And holy shit, @Wedge_Antilles MADE IT BACK. I knew it was him. It was super disheartening to hear that he didn't care anymore, but here he was. I dunno if it was annoyed by fan cry or he actually had a turn of heart, but it was good to see him back And Lando was very underused...but in a good way. Every scene he was in counted. I like how they gave Nien Nunb a speaking role. I spent the entirety of Last Jedi wondering if he was dead. I was hoping he would become Lando's copilot again but that honor definitely belonged to Chewie. Harrison Ford coming back one final final time was great. The final fight was disappointing, they wrote themselves into a corner. they can't have Rey cut down the emperor anymore. I remember people saying he purposely let himself get zapped by his own lightning to sway Anakin to help him. No, that was fuckin lie /tyler the creator He zapped himself until he exploded. Dumbass. Speaking of Dumbass. How about NOT TELLING REY HER KILLING YOU WILL BRING YOUR PLAN INTO FRUITION. OR NOT ANNOUNCING YOUR RETURN TO THE UNIVERSE. thats about all I can think of at the moment. Whoops but I figured this was a great time to level up Onix with his rockiness it took a long time because Onix is weak right now but with lots of binds and tackles, we got through the gym. Even beat Pidgeotto. I know Brock has Geodude, but man this gym sucks. They just had Spearow, Pidgey, and the Otto. At least Brock had an Onix. Its like if a Gym leader had a Ratata. Sprout and onix are lvl 8 I remember reading that Onix is terrible stat wise. At least in the first games. Is that still the case here in the remake? --- |

| Punnyz 12/29/19 11:05:25 PM #2 | theres something I want to discuss, I found out Heart Gold and Soul Silver are one of the most pirated games ever and every story I researched or video I watched, people said they get their copies from Gamestop FUCK yea, we are not trained to keep an eye out for this stuff. at least this intimately Off the top of my head, this is how you can tell the engraving on the back isn't that deep on a real copy the serial number on the motherboard of the cartridge will line up with the ridges the cartridge has to be black the font and colors of the label might be off so refer to a real copy found in an image search also the label itself is a giveaway too, if its too misalligned or cheap looking, its a no go each cartridge has a little spot barely visible on the top to indicate it has an infrared sensor for the poke walker. Bootleggers can't be bothered to replicate this then finally just put it in your 3ds. Apparently 3DSes are good at not playing bootleg crap. Sometimes "better" bootleg stuff will play as a different game entirely on the 3ds. My copy not only did NOT have a save file on it, which scared me, and it DID freeze a few times, it seems to be running now I think this passes, but I'll still have to test it with the walker --- |

I believed all of the Pokegod and Mew Rumors because I just thought yea, it could happen. but ...that was it. I dunno why I didn't keep going (okay probably money) but I stayed at Red from then on. College rolled around and I DID get Platinum cause why the fuck not. I even battled and traded with some of yall. Ahhh I miss Nintendo Wi Fi on DS. but man, That was a HUGE jump for me. Red to Platinum. I do remember liking it. Honchkrow as mah boi. but again, that was it. a coworker that you guys might know as Steak girl actually bought me Alpha Sapphire some years ago and I've had it since. I played it for literally one minute just to have a save file so I could redeem all of the legendaries that gamestop got. Then Nintendo sent my store a free copy of pokemon sun. Nobody had a 3ds at the time so I just kept it. Out of no where my pokemon log is building. Gamestop had a B1g1 free on DS games deal and I ordered Soul Silver and Heart gold. I'm not keeping heart gold but since it would make enough profit on it's own, I kept Soul Silver. I actually have the box and the case, AND THE POKEWALKER because a customer donated it a long time ago. I actually forgot about it. so I got those now and since this is theoretically the closest to Red Version (well, as much as a remake of an old gameboy game can be) I think I'll fit at home --- |

| Punnyz 12/29/19 10:42:24 PM #1 | I mean, I'm aware of some of the prerelease complaints, like animations or some crap Idk but anyways, I went to visit one of my best friends and my honorary niece got Shield she was on the 8th gym leader and lost to him. So I examined her team and the gym's team and figured she needs a water type. This is just simply based on how many ground attacks they were using so I asked here where was the last water area and she went to some ice place. We caught some whale dude. I googled his evolution and he would change in one level, so we started grinding the local enemies then we got the big whale dude. She had the fire starter, an electric dog, a fox thief, a big ass raven, and some rock turtle, but he didn't know any water attacks long story short we had a huge struggle, but we eventually beat the last gym leader. We were hollering. It was crazy cause I was just applying my basic Red version knowledge, and in combination with her knowledge of the more recent stuff, we made quite a team. Having descriptions and stats of attacks and even the game telling you if its effective or not is super helpful god damn Then she went out to some open area and we ran into some GIANT dragon fucker, his name was haxorz or something. He was level 60 and her team was average 40. She started STEAM rolling us. I noticed the dog had an attack that caused instant paralyze, I was telling her to use that, and that was our saving grace. he kept getting paralyzed. eventually we were down to our last pokemon, and we used a dusk ball on him and we caught him. This event was a little get together my friend was hosting and we somehow had a crowd watching at that point so I had a good experience with the game. I thought it was fun. Shes apparently enjoying herself, having gotten the 8th badge for a second I thought this game was like Pokemon Go, like the lets go games before. I thought THATS why everyone hated this game, but its nothing like that so whats the dealio? --- |

We played the shit out of them, who the hell knew when we were gonna get another one. My brother had a side job and he bought Kirby's Adventure for the family and I actually remember making it a mission to find every secret. I remember that was my first 100%. This influenced how I played games from then on, always get everything. buuuuut, I guess I can't apply this mentality anymore I'm an adult, I either am too tired from real life, or just don't have any time at all to do this This is why I picked up Overwatch and why I ran with it so much. Its either to get a few matches in and it'll be like 10-20 minutes tops. But I've always felt Overwatch is a bit destructive. Its a time sink, the time I'm wasting isn't going towards anything. Its not going towards a goal, its not going towards an ending, nada. Its just online matches I tried playing Fire Emblem and I remember a b8er described everybody that tries that game eventually gets "paralyzed". They're overwhelmed by all of the shit thats in it. The marriages, supports, the BREEDING, etc. Happened to me. I tried playing DQVIII. This might be another issue entirely, but I grinded the FUCK out of that game. My guys were pretty cool and I had all of the best gear. I got burned out. So my grinding was for nothing. I think I ALSO got "paralyzed" because I put too much pressure on myself when it comes to them learning abilities and weapon specialties. and Digimon I tried filling out my pokedex and got burned out again So I think from now on, I'm gonna have to force myself to like...not care? Just play the game. I'm also a person that is obsessive over missable shit. So I know this is gonna be hard, and I also know forcing yourself TOO hard its gonna result in the same thing but I dunno man. Sometimes I wanna play a game and I ...just stare at them and then I get turned off, but for the most part I think I AM doing this to myself so anybody else had to change how they approach games too? --- |
