A state legislator who campaigned on progressive ideas including no abortion bans won overwhelmingly (over 20 points) in her state legislature district. She announced that she'd be joining with the republicans, giving them a supermajority of the governor veto. Her term started in January. NC has no mechanisms to trigger a recall of any kind.
