Hooboy...feels a lot like Illumination in here.
I hope they don't turn Goombas or whatever into Minion clones. I like Minions, but I don't think every animated movie needs something like them.

Probably Young Sheldon. It just doesn't feel by-the-numbers like a lot of other sitcoms do.

I assume we're talking about shows as they've been lately, not shows as they were at their highest points (if the latter I'd say The Simpsons).

I'm guessing she got way too much sun when she was younger.
Oh, good, I thought she was a former drug addict.

Anyway, except for her terrible wrinkles, she looks okay. I'd probably go out with her if she came on to me. I can't say right now whether I'd marry her.

I think she has a cute face, especially her cheeks. I also like her curly hair. We can't see much of her body, but what we can see looks all right.

I think the only song they ever did that was tolerable to me at all was the one they didn't actually write.
There was one of those on this album too. It was one of the good songs I mentioned. >_>

Well?

I have to say, just average. I find only 5 or 6 of the 17 songs particularly good.

This was my top recommendation. I was watching some Beavis and Butt-Head clips yesterday.

It really isn't the best Beavis and Butt-Head scene I've seen.

Didn't the U.S. army disable some of those weapons before leaving? I saw a story that said they disabled at least some of the planes; I'm guessing they disabled some of the other weapons too.

Well, hopefully we taught the Taliban not to harbor international terrorists or we'll come in and make their life miserable for a while, though we probably could've taught them that lesson without spending 20 years there.

Did you see this?

https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2021/08/grim-warning-israel-vaccination-blunts-does-not-defeat-delta

As the second paragraph says, "Israel has among the worlds highest levels of vaccination for COVID-19, with 78% of those 12 and older fully vaccinated, the vast majority with the Pfizer vaccine. Yet the country is now logging one of the worlds highest infection rates, with nearly 650 new cases daily per million people. More than half are in fully vaccinated people, underscoring the extraordinary transmissibility of the Delta variant and stoking concerns that the benefits of vaccination ebb over time."

I feel like we're right back where we started from, though I guess the vaccines can only help us fight off COVID if we get it. I had felt that the vaccine being created so early was too good to be true.

it is literally still being called that to this day, but you do you queen
Are we sure about that? All the articles I've found about this rock say that it was referred to by that name in that one 1925 article, but they don't mention any other times. And that name was just the name for that kind of rock, not that rock's specific name. I feel that if it was used more often and/or more recently to insult black people, or if, say, it was a place where black people were lynched, the news reports would say that.
