i made a value chart and assigned rankings to features based on how much they mean to me.

macbook, dollar-for-performance, is about double the cost of a windows laptop.

Keep in mind that the sweet spot for value is in the 700-1200 range (CAD, adjust appropriately for USD). Buying one of the budget laptops may be the cheapest option, but the value is ridiculously low because they really are pieces of shit.

The temperature climbed 20 degrees celcius (36 or so degrees F) here in the last 12 or so hours.

It's still -27 Celcius (-17 F) after the jump.

the trouble is i live in a tiny little apartment with a tiny little apartment-sized fridge, so i can barely keep 2 weeks worth of food in there. The cans/macaroni/rice/pasta/etc that i've stockpiled is more or less non-perishable.

And yeah i never eat this stuff, usually. Decided to tonight instead of cooking at 11pm.

Let the man have his save files. He's away for life. This is just cruel and unusual. Plus, if you've ever seen a person lose a game save, you should easily be able to understand the sentimental value these cards may have.

yeah that one was decent. Top-3 at the time, but back then there weren't a lot of flavours

Chicken Noodle, Chicken/Sausage Gumbo, and Prime Rib Beef are my top-3
Had some "Butter Chicken" one a week ago and i had to throw it out. Just awful. They made a Jerk Chicken one too, also awful, which was a letdown.

edit: on the Chunky site checking out all the cool flavours people get in America. Thai-style chicken sounds amazing.

I...am outraged!

To make matters worse, 1 can is only like 400 calories yet it has 33% of your daily salt intake. I honestly feel like shit after eating it.

And the empty bowl literally smells like zippo lighter fluid, it's really peculiar.

Oh well, 1 can down and 15 to go. I stocked up as an "in case i get covid and can't go shopping" supply, but might have overdone it on the 4/$8 sale at wallmart.
