I don't actually know what this is either, specifically, but it looks like a kinda prequel to LISA the Painful, which a lot of folks hold in high regard.

Another game I'd suggest as an "integrate you into VR" intro game is I Expect You to Die.

Silly James Bond simulator where you have to do spy stuff in a little room while villains try to kill you in cartoony ways.

Nothing in the entire game caught me off guard quite as much as Naruhodo freaking out on the ship, wishing for someone to help him, only to pan the camera over and Herlock's hanging off the coat rack wearing a tiara.

GAA1 is like a D-tier AA game.

But the good news is that GAA2 is S-tier. Legit my favorite AA game of them all.

G1-5 is..... fine. Hearing your thoughts on it honestly did make me realize some things I hadn't the first time I played it and bumped it up a bit for me. Granted, now that I've played 2, seeing how the clues were set up feels better now, but back when I first beat it, it just kinda felt like it was blue balling the shit out of me.

Rocket League. When two really good teams are flying all over the place, it's truly a sight to behold. And it's not like watching a typical sports video game, because a team can be on the absolute back foot saving a goal on their side, and then have a tremendous scoring opportunity on the other within 3 seconds. It's wild.

And the decision to have regulation end only when the ball hits the ground leads to some really tense end of matches.

Watch the last 30 seconds of this grand finals game 7 to determine the world champion and tell me this doesn't make you feel something.

Same reasoning here. And it does it while still being vague to the very end, while still leaving hints the whole way.

The move of allowing the storage under the seat to be investigated early in the trial, and then reveal it later to be empty is such brilliant case design. It's almost directed entirely at old AA fans who love to investigate everywhere, and I appreciate that a lot, even moreso that the fact that it's changed isn't brought up anywhere, or thrust into your face like other AA games tend to do with important information. You just have to sit on it quietly, like it's an exploit you found.
