Stop raising the freaking minimum wage. It's not HELPING those making min wage, and it's hurting everyone who was making within 2-3x min wage before.

Cost of living SKYROCKETS every time min wage goes up. It's insane. It's worse now then before min wage was raised in many places by 50% or so.

IF you raise wages, raise them across the board.

Raise min wage from 10-15$ (happened or is happening many many places) and you have everyone who made 11-15$ suddenly be making min wage, and everything costs more (so they effectively are making less than before).

Raise wages (non-salaried) universally by 20%, and at least everyone would get an increase that would help deal with the cost of living increase that goes along with it. Honestly though boosting wages just seems to hurt the poor the most.

IT hurts anyone makign near min wage a ton. It hurts anyone on disability/social security etc a ton, and it doesn't seem to really help ANYONE, even those who were making exactly min wage before (and honestly even pure min wage jobs get raises over time, so if you worked one awhile you were making more than min wage...but now...if it goes up, your back at min wage again.

STOP RAISING MIN WAGE.

Start providing housing/rentals that are affordable instead. Increase deductions as well, and reduce taxes on the poor (up to a real cost of living).

Seriously, people who are trying to get min wage raised need to look and see what has happening in areas where it jumped significantly in a few years. IT's WAY harder for a person in many of those places to live than it was before.

This is all kinds of wrong

When I was a kid and I was at a birthday party, it was normal for kids to have water/juice/soda and for adults to have beer or a wine cooler or margarita. They wouldnt get drunk, but theyd have a drink or two if they wanted.

I was telling my gf a story about how my brother got drunk at our cousins birthday party once, and she was surprised that there was alcohol at a kids party. She said that it sounds irresponsible to drink while youre in charge of kids, and she doubts her parents would let her go to a party where adults were drinking.... and I guess that makes sense, but, besides that one incident where my brother and cousin got drunk, it was never a problem. And for the record, they were in college, and werent looking after any kids.

plus Chuck E. Cheese sells beer so I feel like it cant be that uncommon.

Theres a lot of albums that didnt make the above list that are really good, like Ill Communication, Jimmy Eat World, Division Bell, Throwing Copper, plus stuff from Dinosaur Jr, the cranberries, and a whole ton more. I feel sorta bad having Unplugged up there, since its not a studio album... but since its the best live album ever, I think it gets a pass.
