I'm sure there's a handful I'm forgetting too. And I wanted to like Perfume Genius's and Tame Impala's new albums more than I did, but they haven't clicked much with me, at least not yet.

I'm about to listen to Gaslighter by The Chicks (fka Dixie Chicks) and I expect it to be one that makes this list. Jonsi, Katie Dey, Imperial Triumphant, Uniform, and Primitive Man all have strong singles from their upcoming albums, so those might make the list too when they're out.

there was about 3 songs I really enjoyed. The rest wasnt bad, but it didnt live up to the hype I had built up for it. Too simple maybe? Idk. Having too high expectations was probably my own fault though.

Hope you enjoy it. It kind of reminds of Bark Psychosis, only hazier and more sprawling.

I still haven't listened to all of the new tricot. Loved their last record.

Bridge to Quiet is my favorite thing they've released as a group since ODDSAC! Animal Collective is one of my absolute favorite bands.

I love the original 1000 Gecs too! I am a big PC Music and "hyperpop" fan so seeing a lot of those artists all over the remix was awesome! And that FOB, Craig Owens, Nicole Dollanganger cover might be my favorite song on the album even though I haven't listened to Fall Out Boy or any of Craig Owens's bands since high school (love Nicole Dollanganger though, was supposed to see her a couple years ago but she got sick). It also introduced my to n0thanky0u and I really like their album from last year now as a result.

Lana Del Rey is releasing a spoken word album to compliment her book next week. Im looking forward to that.
