While i'm in favor of banning and severely prosecuting cops who do this, I always think "if the cops had actual hand to hand combat training on a regular basis, maybe they'd be able to properly use the chokeholds they're so fond of using, and the deaths wouldn't happen as often.

People who have had actual legitimate Combat or MMA training are hardly ever going to do chokeholds because they know how damn dangerous they are.
