Im not a fan of Trump, but the world really has gone to hell since he was removed from office. Biden has completely bumbled every aspect since taking over and has led us to record high inflation while the separation from the rich and the poor has become more apparent than ever. Even this current mess with Russia would be handled better by Trump and we wouldnt be on the brink of world war 3. Its just sad that so many misguided people voted for Biden or we wouldnt be in this mess. Hopefully we can make it to 2024 so that DeSantis can save us.

See now this is where youre just making assumptions. I havent watched her documentary (since it isnt available yet) so I dont know how well done the research is yet. Im just saying that its good for everyone to hear different takes of a subject especially when a different take is being presented by a respected and intelligent individual. This is how you avoid confirmation bias.

Shes been the Vice President of administration of a private equity firm, a CEO of a marketing company, created her own social media app amongst several other rather intelligent accomplishments. Shes obviously in the upper tier for intelligence. Dont be a hater.

Makes sense. That stuff's important and needed relatively urgently, so interfering with it would cause problems. In general, it's unlikely to actually come up, given that the vast majority of cross-border truckers are vaccinated already, but building in the contingency is reasonable.

The exemption for parents dropping off students, on the other hand, seems stupid.

If the laws are there to actually protect people, there shouldnt be any exemptions. When you make exemptions like this, sort of like how in NYC athletes and performers who arent residents can go inside buildings unvaccinated but athletes and performers who are unvaccinated residents cant, it makes people question the overall purpose of the mandate.

Preferably examples that outnumber all of the idiots we get to see doing things like blockading national borders or storming the capitol, since otherwise the minority you cite is being outcompeted by the minority you're trying to deny the existence of (while also praising).

Calling the truckers terrorists, in my opinion, is rather ignorant. Whether or not you agree with them, they are protestors who feel like they are being discriminated against and want change. They are using what they have available to them to protest just like other protestors have in the past, and as long as they are non-violent, I think its in their every right to protest. Also if they are such a fringe minority then why does it matter if they are vaccinated? You dont need a 100% vaccination rate to reach herd immunity.
