4/5 definitely feels generous to me but glad you enjoyed it.

I will say that was a fun one to be working in a movie theater for. We would just yell "Snakes on a plane" across the lobby from time to time. We'd get a laugh whenever someone asked what the movie was about. And I even took home the movie poster because it was fun.

Lets give a shoutout to this movies marketing campaign. Easily one of the best of any movie in my lifetime. Its incredible how easily they sold this concept to the general audience.

And it needed it. Because noone but comic book geeks knew any of the characters and a cast that includes a pro wrestler. a talking raccoon, and a tree that says one sentence repeatedly doesn't exactly sell on its own. Plus a sitcom comedy guy as the action hero lead.

Did they expand that fight at all? The manga felt like we missed the start of the fight, like not seeing Brook's visions at all, and I was hoping the anime would add that in.

I mean I think she only really had one friend at all at the very start (the other girls were really that girl's friends). Otherwise she just spent all her time gaming alone and playing with her cat. Seemed like she left all her guy friends behind in her previous school.

I did enjoy Romantic Killer as did my wife. The premise is definitely a bit creepy but they never actually push it in the hentai/physical direction at all so it didn't bother me.

Riri is very annoying though.

Artemis being a potential Red is really interesting. He definitely seems like a character with two sides to him and taking the ring would certainly mean giving up one of those sides.

Buying physical copies was expensive, especially since reading through them didn't take very long, so I'll probably use certain websites in the future. I also still prefer anime, but so many great shows end without a proper conclusion so it'll be good to start reading those ones at least.

You can also check your local library, some have really good manga collections.

Why does Chimp hang out in the Oblivion bar when he isn't magical? That write-up makes it sound like Spectre is targeting him but why would Spectre care about Detective Chimp? Has he wronged someone so egregiously that the Spirit of Vengeance is after him?

It never said he was from a different giant island, just some island in the south blue. Actually I'd say that likely means it wasn't a giant island because they're not common in the world.

I guess that's true. I just always assumed there were two groups based on how he talked about them.

Though one thing I'm confused on/wondering if it's a plot hole. Saul wasn't from Elbaf and said those giants were barbaric. So why is it Elbaf giants helping him and taking the books rather than the giants from his island?

Brutale was even on Artemis' final mission in Gotham... but he got put to sleep pretty early on in it, but that's okay, I still had Bock, Patch, Isis and over fifty cats to help out.

Brutale going through Gotham with an army of animals is a very amusing visual for me.

Just watched it (after watching the three lead-in episodes). It was the probably the best of the One Piece movies Ive seen, besides possibly 6 (which I havent seen in like a decade and dont remember too well). I dont think there were any spoilers of consequence to me (since the one Maniac mentioned wasnt much of a surprise).

Yeah that's why I felt whole cake was the bigger cut off. I think at that point it wasn't a surprise unless you were one of those fans that actually believed Oda was going to kill someone that important.

And even then whole cake is less about spoilers and more about the movie expecting you to be familiar with certain Big Mom pirates.

I'd say you should be done with Whole Cake.

And yeah you can certainly watch the few tie in episodes.

One Piece Film Red was cool! It was the first One Piece movie I've ever watched actually. I was surprised to see Gear 5, even though it was just a hint. Must've have confused anime-only people lol. Also I loved the credits which shows little scenes of characters from every part of the world.

My wife is anime only and didn't even notice it.

I feel like that is probably the most common reaction since it wasn't focused on at all.

Also the credits were a great touch. Though that was the actual confusion/surprise for my wife since there were some cover story developments shown.

Nami definitely has times where she and Usopp are both just normal people freaking out about all the scary stuff around them. But she also has times where she is confident and brilliant.

Often just depends on if she feels too out of her element, like when dealing with massive giants. If she is scamming people or doing anything navigation/weather related she is unflappable.

I will say she is quicker to suck it up and get past her fear than Usopp is. When things get really bad you know Nami will stand strong.

Man I really need to try Blue Lock. I have loved both thr soccer manga I've read.
