he's a different person in the town Spook is at in book 3 and is with the refugees that go underground. Now that all could have been decided later and I agree that Hoid was probably not planned as such a big deal early on. So your right and I'm not sure why I'm arguing lol

Basically most of Sanderson's series take place in the same universe (called the Cosmere). All the books have different gods and magic but the gods are all connected. and there are people who can travel between the worlds (Hoid is a character who appears in every series though with different names).

The traveling and different worlds gets brought up in Stormlight eventually so i think its helpful to know. Thats really all you need to know though.

But unlike GRRM they actually recover and have good stuff happen as well.

Big difference is switching the pre battle cards for individual abilities that officers and rulers can activate throughout the battle.

Yeah Empires definitely gets repetitive. I usually change play styles or betray leaders just to mix things up.

I wish the AI did more. When I do a campaign there will usually be only a couple areas conquered by other nations. I wish there were more aggressive AI or that other nations would deal with uprising and betrayals like your country can. Would make it more interesting.

DW6 screwing with people's weapons was the worst.

I started an evil ruler play through as LuBu. It is much harder to be evil than good. They made really normal things give you good points.
