I was a virgin til about 20. I had been in some relationships where I got to 2nd base but couldn't score.

She doesnt want to be too close to them. Her reasoning is that even if we live close, we're each busy in our own lives and our own kids and we wont be seeing each other that often.

They live in a nice city (roseville, california) We both had our sights set on a nearby city (granite bay) which is even nicer but it would be a 15 min drive between our houses.

I used to be okay with that, but these trumpers have gotten more and more annoying.

Problem is we dont really want to move anywhere else. We could go to el dorado hills, and there would be alot of traffic between us. Some more separation.

How do I avoid these people without telling my wife I dont like them?

As a doctor I have a few different social circles.
-My closest friends include 6 people: 5 are doctors, 1 is an engineer.
-Next circle with a few more buddies, 14 people: 6 doctors, 3 engineers, 2 small business owner (both with only HS educations), 2 finance, 1 policeman

We all get along great.

But being a doctor or lawyer doesn't make you 'top tier'. Being top tier is being in a circle with medium to large business owners, CEOs, politicians, etc. Power is more important than money.

I have a toddler and he's a handful. Only time I get to play video games is during his naps or when he sleeps at night and my wife happens to be at work late. This is maybe a few nights per week. I dont like playing video games when she's home, rather spend time with her. And I dont want to play every night anyways, I'm perfectly fine with 2 nights per week for like 1-2 hours each.

But I have another kid on the way now. I wanted to get the new xbox but now once the new kid is here I don't see how I'll have any time. Even that spare time at night is probably gonna be better spent just sleeping.

I'm also not against them gaming when they're older but thats still several years away.

People need to realize he's not saying these things because he doesn't understand them or because he's dumb. He's saying these things because these are the subtle things you need to do to keep your own power - even if it puts his personal gain above the wellbeing of the world, the future, current citizens, etc. He's a dirty politician. What he puts out in public is not the same as what he truly believes is the right thing to do.

I consider Washington amazing for two reasons.
First, he kept the continental army together when we were getting our asses kicked regularly.
And second, he adhered to just two terms, when he could have easily become king.

And really he had such little to work with - untrained soldiers, deserters, lack of ammunition, lack of basic supplies for his men. He was handicap but his situation. And he had to deal with the continental congress who really didn't understand the actual situation because they weren't on the ground with him.

I actually listen to the audiobooks on audible. I have a 30 minute commute each way to work, so I can knock out like 5 hours a week. Currently I'm reading Washington: A Life by Ron Chernow. Its 900 something pages but 40 hours. And I listen at 1.0 speed, I want to enjoy it and take it all in.

Next I already used my credit to download John Adams: A Life by Ferling. Its 500 something pages and 20 hours.

I'm more than halfway done with Washington. Its actually super interesting. Started off a bit boring but it ramped up with his involvement in the french and indian war. Now as commander in chief of the continental army its pretty interesting.

I was one of these people who was proud of the flag and proud of this country. I was all about Murca, but over the past 4 years these shit heads hijacked the idea of american pride and really put negative connotations on it. In the last few years if someone was flying an american flag, they were most likely trumper shitheads.

I had a Sega Mastersystem, Sega Genesis, Nintendo, PS1, N64, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4.

IMO:
PS4 > X1.
X360 > PS3.
PS2 > XBox.

I just hate the name xbox series x since xbox one had an "X" version.

All my friends are getting the new xbox and my games are pretty limited to CoD and FIFA. FIFA was far superior on PS4 and the PS controller is better for sports games than Xbox, whereas the xbox controller is better for pretty much everything else.

Is there a dual shock shaped controller for xbox? I might as well get one of those and one regular controller.

I love playoff hockey. Its one of the most intense playoffs there is. Its non-stop action.

Regular season hockey is okay.

Its a great sport, highly enjoyable. I just prefer soccer, basketball, and football and I only really have time to 2-3 sports.
