You must live in SoCal too. The 5 and 405 are two of the biggest pieces of shit in LA. I used to drive the 101 every day. My god it sucked.

But yeah, leaving two lengths is the right idea. Better to be safe and lose a bit of time than rear end someone. I have personally witnessed two collisions, and one of them was a really bad rear end collision (3 cars because some stupid woman was looking at her phone).

For TC, it's pointless to be upset by driving defensively. Just protect yourself and don't worry about it. Also, pay attention to those truck drivers as they get crazier by the day, at least here in southern California. I even got clipped by one who was tailing me for no reason. Even had to call the police as the guy was screaming in my face. At least his company covered the repairs, but yeah, it was an unpleasant experience nonetheless.

I hate the 101 even more than my normal drive. At least the 405 has predictable rushes, the 101 seems to be ass at all times of day save for the witching hour.

Every once in a while you see a couple people in a crash in the fast lane trying to dodge traffic while yelling at each other. Not only do these people seem to not realize that they did something stupid and caused their accident but they increased everyone's commute by close to an hour. I intensely dislike these people and seeing people brag about driving stupidly triggers me.

Thats the metric we have decided is the determining factor in whether sexual relations between adults are allowed or accepted.

1. Are they both legally adults

2. Do they both consent, as in is the female in the situation not in any legal way able to claim after the fact her senses were compromised before or during sexual relations

3. Self harm is not allowed up to a point because in western society our bodies are owned by the economy and expected to output a certain amount of economic value before being allowed to die

Follow those 3 rules and you cnt get in trouble for doing ANYTHING (aside from incest, because thats how kingdoms form, not to imply I am for it, but thats the real reason the government is against it when that used to be what the government was)

Number 3 makes me the most sad, capitalism run amok and people for the most part don't even care that you don't really own your own body in a legal sense as an American.

Man, I told my friends and people on the board to pull out of ripple and stellar once it came out that the cb adoption rumor was bs and they didn't want to listen.

Like reruns was saying, the market is all just speculation propped up by absolutely nothing. A random blogger with a throwaway email took xrp from $0.80 to $3.50 and now it is back down again.

If MoneyGram doesn't excite would-be investors then you know the market is bs and supported by average goes rather than professionals - that means it is a snatch and grab game, not a holding one.

To me, the bolded part is the most important sentence in your post. That has been my entire point all along in my comments. If you guys want to gamble - and that's all this is - go ahead. You might make a little money or you might lose quite a bit of your initial investment.

But people should not be thinking that they will get rich trading in this garbage, that they're some type of genius investor for doing it or encourage other people to join the mania.

And for that, numerous people in this thread that look pretty stupid now jumped all over me.

It's one thing to waste your own money. It's another to try to persuade others to do it.

Sadly, some of you might be able to learn how to invest and make real money if you took the time, but I think the appeal of get rich quick schemes is far too strong. That's why there are so many retail investor suckers getting burned on this stuff, which is a huge signal to get out of it.

Ripple went down 75% and stellar took a 60% hit. Was the Bitcoin crash really worse than that? As far as I can tell the btc crash maxed at around 50%.
