The fact that he told so very much to the FBI which helped them understand the minds of serial killers. I never said he was a good person. Monsters can be fascinating.Yeah, it obviously discredits nothing he did, but the information he gave the FBI, the work he did with them, the time he spent, he likely saved a few lives and gave them a leg up in many investigations.
