archizzy 02/03/24 11:56:18 PM #6:	I generally like almost all HBO made shows but going into it I thought it would be lame. The only reason I watched it and gave it a chance was because it was created by Alan Ball who was also responsible for the excellent show Six Feet Under. So for that reason I started watching it and admittedly ended up liking it quite a bit even though Im not normally into vampire stuff. Just lost interest and the softcore sex wasn't enough of a hook although I remember the report of how much girls loved it. But yeah 15 years ago the idea of seeing Anna Paquin naked was crazy. Remember crushing so hard on xmen 2 Anna Paquin it was ridiculous. It's been more than a decade since I last watched it, but IIRC ~~the diner owner turns out to be a shapeshifter, Tara becomes a vampire, Lafayette's bf turns out to be a brujo, Lafayette is already a medium, but gets possessed or something.~~ I hadn't slept when typing up that post. Bill becomes a bad guy for a bit, I think, but it's because he drank the blood of Lilith, the first vampire. I don't know why, but he wants to kill himself in the finale and Sookie helps him do that. Once it went into the ~~main character is a fairy~~ I lost interest.
