I wished I played it before Persona 5 because it felt like a step back in pretty much every way, but it was still a good time. It really should have ended way sooner though because the whole "REAL culprit" thing got old fast, and the big bad being some random gas station guy from one scene at the beginning of the game was anti-climatic and silly imo. It would have been better if it was just Adachi (and the giant eyeball I guess) Kuma > Kanji > Narukami > Yosuke > Naoto > Rise > Yukiko > Chie I thought all of the characters were pretty likable, though. Didn't dislike any of them which is pretty rare! But the bear was far and away my favorite ask me anything --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! |

The graphics were obviously better and the characters were much more developed but I didn't care for the gameplay or the story. By the end I was just waiting impatiently for it to be over I think the original is quite overrated and it probably doesn't make my top 5 Final Fantasy games, but I do like it, it's just not one of my favorite games. --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! |
