They're pretty important to just have up as much as possible for any tough fights. Use items that boost kevin's CP and make sure whoever is on earth wall duty has cast materia and you should be good Yeah I tried all of these things! If I stayed close enough together to use Earth Wall he just AoE'd me to death. Also he has that delay attack which makes his ridiculous speed even harder to deal with. I tried spreading out and using the single target one but I couldn't say ahead of him, especially since he has a full screen attack so I can't just keep one character protected. I had three characters with Earth Wall and Cast 2. I mean it worked until he buffed himself and then it went downhill fast I had the level 5 speed quartz (Onyx I think?) and Clock Up EX on everyone, and Zodiac. Also using Mueller assist for the speed boost. I even gave Kevin the accesories to boost his CP gain. But once he got that STR/SPD buff on he would just start mowing me down. I really don't know what you're supposed to do after he does that _stingers_ posted... Oh also, I'd recommend using Richard if you aren't. I spammed his one craft that has a very low delay, if you boost his speed as high as possible then he can sometimes go 4 times before Cassius goes so he will be your damage while everyone else provides support Richard is required for this part, and yeah I was doing that too. I ended up turning the difficulty down and beat him. I saved it in a new slot in case I'm too proud to continue, haven't decided yet --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! |

| MZero 04/26/21 9:58:53 AM #317 | Colorless School finished! The music was hauntingly beautiful and reminded me of FF7 for some reason. Fighting all the black knights was a little tedious because I just did the same thing every time. The game came up with a good excuse for fan service battles and I'm not complaining! Raven was easy, and Phillip himself wasn't hard but his goons were a royal pain. I thought silencing them was a good strategy but I think that made them hit even harder and faster. So I went with the tried and true method of S-Break spam to get rid of them immediately and it was smooth sailing from there Chapter 6 feels like it'll be a long one --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! |

| MZero 04/25/21 11:06:46 PM #314 | Chapter 5 beated! Those spiders were like those kids that claim all the powers when playing super heroes. We all knew that kid. So I tried to kill them all as fast as possible but didn't see the mama spider coming (I really should have expected something like that). I only had petrify protection on two characters because on my first attempt it only petrified me once in about 10 tries but on the second attempt they spammed that delay attack and it petrified almost every time. I did manage to win, but unfortunately Olivier and Anelace got no EXP as they had fallen in battle :( The stone is blue this time! And it contains that woman who's identity we stole in SC! --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! |

The next round I won without him even cracking 1000 so I guess the RNG karma balanced out but I was temporarily heated Anyway back to the main quest. Team is Ries/Estelle/Olivier/Anelace. | MZero 04/24/21 6:51:19 AM #292 | Took me a lot of tries but I managed to beat him. I had to take out Anelace for Agate so I could interrupt his Arts (along with Olivier's Sniper Shot). Giving Kevin a new S-Craft right before the battle are forcing you to set it as his S-Break was Not Cool imo. I wanted to use Grail Sphere to block his craft that does like 10k damage since canceling it doesn't seem to work. It didn't take a lot to deplete his life bar but keeping myself alive was the issue Nice little touch having Joshua hold out the stone instead of Kevin to get Estelle back. Finally, the whole band is b- Oh no Kevin is ded --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! |

Their canons are bugged so that each hit animation has a damage setting so the animation that hits 3 times does 3x as much damage and the animation that hits 5 times does 5x as much damage. It's a nightmare. The latter will one hit kill you on Hard+ and there's like 5 of them lol Oh... I am playing on PS3, so that explains a lot! I thought it was pretty ridiculous for these cannons to be hitting me for like 16,000 damage (~4000x4) but the attack had four in it so I figured that was supposed to be happening. Or it was hitting 5 times for 20,000? It was hard to tell tbh. But anyway that's why I had to go through so much trouble to burst them down before they could attack, cause no one could survive that attack even with all the defense buffs and orbments I could muster --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! |

Second shift is annoying because if you wake up at a normal time like 9 or 10 then you have this dumb chunk of time where you can't really do anything because you have to go to work in a few hours. I used to work from 1 or 2pm to 10pm and I usually went to bed at 2 and woke up around 10. Got plenty of gaming done before work! I love second shift because I hate getting up early. I did have a job where I worked 1-10pm on weekdays and 10am-6pm on weekends. That was the worst --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! |

Alex Smith had his only 4000 yard season in his last year in KC, and if you're throwing the ball that much you probably want someone better. But the 49ers were more of a defensive team and leaned on their running game. And they were like 11-1 before he got injured in 2012 iirc I just think that 49ers team was built on running and defense and Smith was the perfect "do just enough" guy. When they went to Kaep he wanted the spotlight (and big contract) which pretty much destroyed their identity.
