Also I heard the patched planet transitions, so I assume that part is coming off much more favorably to newer players.

I honestly thought there might be some hidden payoff somewhere in the story, but the main reason I did everything is that I didn't know until after I beat it that they weren't planning to carry over to another game. Thought this was the start of a new trilogy.

Nope. I praised the game really hard but I never told anyone they were an idiot for not liking it! In fact I very specifically was open about the belief that the game wasn't for everyone.

I unfortunately was not aware of the series for these events, but I do reccomended you give the second game a whirl!

The worst thing about the Andromeda debacle is the people who just didn't like the game because they thought it wasn't very good getting shouted at by people calling them idiots and saying they're just following the herd and memes, and only hate it because the bugs.

Like, playing the game for over 60 hours and doing every single mission and then when you say you don't think it was good because of the story and characters people straight up call you a liar and claim you never played the game?

I thoroughly did not enjoy the game on any front, bugs be damned, so really I can't bring myself to feel anything about this. Shame for those who somehow managed to enjoy it, regardless of my feelings. I don't think there was anything they could have done to make me interested in playing any DLC after doing 100% on every planet.

Such an incredible show.

Yeah the Netflix stuff has been pretty middling, with a few standout moments - kinda like the movies.
