Why do I see some dire post with a billion comments at #1 and then I actually look at it and it's some commentor apologizing for shit talking this Minecraft dude?

This was a lot of effort to type out a story that boils down Undertale living rent free in your head.

There are, without any shred of doubt, several thousand people who see the story about the strike and would think, without any minute amount of irony, "wow, Biden spent MY check money on missiles!"

Pokmon fandom also has the opposite problem where when people have legit complaints they get shouted down as haters.

I honestly prefer this approach to the SwSh look theoretically, but I don't think it looks particularly good for what they're going for. Do I prefer the actual results here versus SwSh? Hard to say just yet.

Like, this DOES look like a mobile game, production wise. Which isn't surprising, it's from a mobile game studio.

Wow, I am actually browsing Twitter for the first time today other than my alerts and people really are not happy about the look of RDSP in the slightest, huh?

I guess it stands out because I'm used to Pokemon fans getting super angry and vitriolic when they don't like something, but what I'm seeing is falling more in line with depressed.

My assumption from the hammering home that it was dumped on a mobile dev is that RDSP is going to be the barest of the bare bones zero risk remake possible.

Also I could see that game straight up actually being ported to mobile one day.

I don't think it looks bad or anything, but I don't have nostalgia for those games so this doesn't really pull me in on it's own merits. I never played B&W and that seems to be what the majority considers the best gen.

Legends I'll keep an eye on, but that thing was running ay 20ish FPS, and if you specifically look at the Chingling when it appears at 13:50 it's straight up no joke sub 10 FPS. Hopefully just early dev stuff, but SwSh still doesn't run great.

Great selection of starters, though. Cyndiquil is the only time I have ever chosen fire, and even then it's s hard call here.
