i need help guys, my toon has been stuck with the depression and anxiety debuff since the divorce event (which took all the cash and half of my items from my inventory). It causes a permanent -6 to my Motivation stat and -8 to my Happiness. Just can't find a way to get rid of it, f***ing annoying. I don't qualify for any vocations now so I'm stuck in my Player Home with no way out.

Have you tried LFG? My buddy had similar debuffs, then he found a geared priest and a really hot mage who made him food and water whenever he needed it. He also levelled his Blacksmithing by building PC's for the auction house and then dabbled in camera drones. He tried levelling his Fishing, but did not really like it.

if them expressing discontent during THE ANTHEM BEFORE THE GAME affects your ability to enjoy the game and bothers you so much, you should evaluate why that's so problematic to you. The game is not being affected.

I'm not so sure about that. I've been reading recently about how European football (AKA soccer) leagues have been trying to crack down on fans taunting players through racial slurs. The N-word used against a player, for example, does not physically affect how the game is played because it is literally just sounds arranged as a word, but many players and fans do feel insulted when they hear it, thus it can affect peoples' ability to enjoy the game. I have a strong feeling most people here on CE would also be upset if we used your logic and told them to "evaluate why that's so problematic," if we told them to not make a big deal out of something like that.

Personally, I agree NFL players have the right to protest and I don't want them to be fired, but I can also see why a lot of people say it's disrespectful. It is disrespectful and the players are hiding behind the First Amendment to be disrespectful, just like people who are racist use the First Amendment to say and write disrespectful things.

Colin Kaepernick is not under arrest by any law enforcement agents in the US, nor will he ever be for kneeling during the National Anthem. None of those NFL teams have to fire anyone just because the president would like to see it happen. They can all tell him to fuck off, and they won't have to worry about being imprisoned.

I don't feel comfortable with harsh social punishments that can impact citizens who speak openly and offensively, but this is, sadly, the current state of affairs when it comes to public speech and actions that can be included as such. Time and time again, we've been reminded by the Left that it's Ok to destroy people's lives if they insult someone else, and that this is not a free speech issue anyway. Nah, I disagree, at least if we're talking about "better" having to do with people paying attention to what they were watching. It wouldn't surprise me if a huge percentage of the viewers, especially the female ones, mostly cared about what was happening on screen because of the love story between Jack and Rose. It was their generation's Romeo and Juliet. Take that out and you're left with a big-ass ship in the freezing Atlantic, but not much else.

Anyway, it's not that hard to do once you make it a habit and are pretty much willing to give every genre and author a chance. Yesterday, I started the Wrinkle in Time series, which seems to be a pretty easy read.
