And yeah I like her a lot cause she kinda flips the typical "perky young girl" type on its head with her internal monologues and some of her dialogue. Like she's more often doing it because she feels like she has to to keep morale up than because it's her personality per se. I feel like in more light hearted times Vanille actually might be a bit more of a thoughtful chill type rather than WOO ENERGY~. I think that's neat to think about. You kinda get a bit of that feel with Rikku too from time to time but I think there's a bit more of a contrast with Vanille which is interesting. Rikku's more like "peppy girl who can be serious once in a while when the mood calls for it" and Vanille is like "girl who is serious deep down most of the time but pretends to be peppy to help try and keep things light." Also her weapon is badass. I wish physical attack Vanille was more viable but what can ya do. Easily my favorite FFXIII character and one who would be on my list, and possibly my favorite from your list too. (Faris Edgar and Setzer are the only other considerations) --- No problem! Like... bad enough that I think any legit good wrestler would do them better even among the worst trash fodder. She does "moves" that I guess are okay looking but seems really bad at connecting with the audience which is magnified in pointless filler matches since there isn't much to those beyond getting your shit in and trying to get the crowd into it. --- No problem! I would probably put her on the second tier of women on the show, somewhere. Pretty firmly behind the likes of Asuka, Natalya, Mickie James, but like Nikki vs Bayley or Sasha or Ember Moon imo isn't super clean cut. I still think she's good. Just like... the bottom tier of what could be considered good, if that makes sense. | Lopen 08/21/18 11:42:28 PM #467 | Also finally watched Summerslam today. It was okay. Thoughts: AJ vs Joe was awesome. The finish being garbage I didn't even mind at all, that's how good it was. It was a cheap finish that actually made sense in a way beyond "we need to make this feud continue somehow." Easy MotN. Brock vs Roman was probably the second best match honestly. I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely their best match since the Rollins cash in. I think Strowman not making a triple threat immediately didn't really make sense from a character perspective though, and I think Strowman triple threat would have made it better, but him being a distraction and the fast pace of the match made things actually fun which is more than you can say for most Brock vs Roman matches. Also helped it only went like 10 minutes or something. Women's triple threat was actually really good too. It's #2 or #3 I think. I think Becky Lynch as a badass Stone Cold type face would be awesome off the reaction from her beating Charlotte down but from what I'm reading in here they just made her a generic heel which is lmao. Rest felt largely like filler. It wasn't bad filler (well Ronda's match kinda was but it was mercifully short) so it didn't bring the show down and overall I would call it a good show. Miz vs Bryan was pretty disappointing. Didn't really do anything to make it feel special at all-- true to the build I guess. (Did not watch pre-show-- I remember hearing the cruiser match was good but eh) --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Probably in the top 1/3 of women on the main roster imo. Rousey's only good on a curve. With 10 years she might be good. Or she might actually get worse in that she'll start working more like a wrestler and lose a lot of the charm she was hired for in the first place like so many crossover type wrestlers have in the past. --- No problem! I feel like retention rate of people knowing who he is, particularly when comparing watching like youtube videos, is going to be a lot lower than people who know who Phoenix Wright is with only similarly surface exposure to that series. --- No problem! I'd say 800k that has existed and been at least somewhat relevant for 17 years is probably more relevant than 4 million that's been out for 3. For example I am the only one of my circle of friends that owns Marvel 3. Literally dozens of gamers have exposure to Marvel 3 entirely from that copy. Also PC gamers probably have the lowest overlap with Smash and that's where the majority of Undertale's sales are from. I mean yeah Undertal very well could have more presence among gamers than Marvel 3, but I'm not 100% convinced. Nor am I convinced it has more presence than Phoenix Wright series at this point. Both combined? Get outta here. And keep in mind I agree PW is likely below 70% recognizability on that poll, so even if it beats both combined it's like... by enough? --- No problem!
