Sonic Frontiers beated. The last island was really good. It just trusted you knew what you were doing at that point, so it felt like I had a lot of freedom. Last boss was a little weird, but eh, Sonic last bosses tend to be pretty hit or miss.

I do want to go back and get the stuff I missed though, so I'm not done with the game just yet. I also heard there's some free DLC coming, so I'll be keeping an eye on that.

Oh hey, Sonic Frontiers finally had a Cyberspace level that wasn't Green Hill/Chemical Plant/Sky Sanctuary. That Speed Highway level was awesome. Imagine if there was more variety in the zone selection in this game!

(There have been some really good levels in this game, don't get me wrong, but they could've done even more)

Oh wow, already done with the fourth island on Sonic Frontiers. Short but sweet. Six "obstacle courses" and a ton of lore. I'll take it.

All right, decided to roll with Black Eagles in Three Hopes. Interesting that they make Shez a student instead of an instructor, with literally Jeritza as the new third instructor now. This should be good.

I'm kinda sad not every line of dialogue is voiced in Three Hopes like it is in the original game, but I get that was probably a bit too much to hope for (no pun intended).

Can't tell who has a new VA yet or not.

Started Three Hopes. Wow, both the new MC and Byleth speak! That's already a point in its favor, although I wish they wouldn't have made them nameable. Have we learned nothing from Tidus?

Also they did a good job of establishing how fearsome of a fighter Byleth is.

Also I might start Three Hopes while I'm at home on the mend, so I need to decide if I want to pick Black Eagles first since I never picked them in Three Houses (I do want to get to it eventually) or pick Blue Lions because best house.

I've been pretty lucky about avoiding the flu most years.

Yeah, I'm usually the same way, but it managed to get me this year. I felt miserable last night, but while I still don't feel great today, I do feel a little better, at least.

I haven't watched a second of the World Cup

Just finished To The Moon. The ending felt a little abrupt, but overall, a cool concept for a game. If you're looking for a short, easy-to-follow story with no frills (the gameplay is just finding story triggers and solving very basic puzzles), it's worth a shot. I like the presentation of how the story is gradually unfolded.

Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special complete!

Fun little Christmas movie with some good humor and some nice sentimental touches, too. Most of the Guardians don't get much screen time, but I feel like they make the most of it.

Wow, we got Bengals/Titans locally. I thought I was going to be relegated to the torment that was Jets/Bears.

I've always really liked Episode 6, but I feel like I'm in the minority there.

I'm about 20 chapters into book 12 of The Wheel of Time, and I must say I'm impressed at how much it still feels the same despite the change in author.

Just finished the last episode. It's between this and Mando Season 1 for the best thing Disney has done with Star Wars.

Man, what a great show. Don't know if I'd say it's better than Mandalorian Season 1 overall, but what a triumph this show turned out to be. Can't wait for Season 2.

Last night's loss is now even worse.

I saw a launch trailer for a game called Finding Paradise that looked really interesting. I did some research and found it was a port of a game made in 2017, and it's the sequel to a game called To The Moon. Both games are highly praised for their stories, and they're basically sprite-based visual novels (they were made with RPG Maker). I decided to purchase To The Moon, so we'll see how it goes!

Such a good show. I'd say this is a show you can enjoy if you're not a big fan of Star Wars or even if you haven't watched it at all. It doesn't really depend on knowing anything else about the series, and it's relatively grounded for a sci-fi show. It's basically Star Wars for adults.
