Well yeah the benefits are too good to ignore. You dont have to date her to get the benefits though.

While I emphasize with Kawakami (she has some of the best confidant benefits so theres really no reason to not rank her up), being able to date your teacher in a game where they make such a huge deal over the Kamoshida thing just feels incredibly wrong.

Ive been legit no-lifing this game which I havent done in a very long time. I think its one of the all-time JRPG greats. So glad it finally got ported. I just got back from the Hawaii trip in the story. I could go into so much depth about what makes this game great.

I hate Splatfests because they limit the amount of options you have to play the game (Ranked/Anarchy is disabled). I love Salmon Run but I hope Big Run doesnt lock you out of every other mode for the same reason.

We are probably getting Big Run (Salmon Run takeover of plaza and Turf War maps) this month. Not sure if they will alternate those and Splatfests?

People have been getting clipped thru the floor by other weapons too. Saw one with one of the blaster variants one shotting thru the floor - but they had to position correctly (both players) and get lucky

The bamboo sniper is literally the worst weapon in Salmon Run from my experience. If the loadout doesn't have bamboo, then imo it's manageable

Dynamo Roller is pretty fucking abyssmal, as is Hydra Splatling

Basically anything slow is a death sentence

Not a fan of the Explosher and Goo Tuber for sure...

Explosher can break Flyfish pods like a grenade tho, and Goo Tuber it's important to know that you can hold the charge while in ink, giving you some important mobility

I'm basically gonna be a long time Splattershot Pro man I think, but in 3, I'm maining the bubblies, or whatever it was called. That weapon is so fun and so creative, it's basically like playing a different game. Though honestly, it's like almost impossible to kill a person jumping everywhere

When you dodge roll with them, your character holds them together such that they resemble the Dual Squelcher, a weapon from Splatoon 1

Also dodge rolling with them is really good anyways because they can move immediately out of a dodge roll

Wave Breaker is also an amazing special that I feel a lot of people sleep on. Solid support kit

Well with the 4 rolls, youve hopefully either retreated to safety, or dpsed then to death (especially since you can shoot during a roll) because its difficult to track rolls close-range

I've had an Apple Watch since 2018 and it's almost brand new aside from a small scuff after falling onto a cement sidewalk.

The watch is already large, I'd avoid a case unless you absolutely need one, then I'd recommend the Spigen line.

The band I got is pretty roomy because I thought it would be too small for my wrist otherwise.

Can someone explain the crab tank to me? I've never seen it used or have used it effectively. It's basically always popped into an auto kill or just fizzles out. It seems like an actual detriment more than anything. Looks cool though I guess. But no idea how to actually use it to any advantage

It's honestly amazing how little they do for how much they make. The power of marketing I guess reminds of Dragonball, 1 chapter a month, cept this month, 1 movie every 5 years, a promotional anime that's less than 11 minutes long every 4 months and absolutely no new games only DLC for games nearing over half a decade instead.

For their part, they were insanely supportive of her and said there'd always been a spot for her if she wants to come back, but there's 0 pressure on her to do so and they support her.

Crazy how Blizzard has managed to fuck up the game this bad. It completely runs counter to the one of the basic principles of the original game, which is that all characters are free as you need to be able to swap in order to counterplay the enemys team comp.
