Whats weird is that the weapon upgrade system opens up dramatically in NG+. It's still not the best thing ever, but it's much better than the initial playthrough.

The delivery job definitely implies at least attempting to make sure the order is correct before you deliver it.

That's a bit of an extreme example, but most restaurants seal the orders. Drivers are not supposed to open them. There's no way for them to know you got kung pow chicken instead of the orange chicken you ordered.

Agreed 100%. Having the RPG elements striped away hurt it too, with the upgrades being solely the defense and attack numbers, and no elemental strength and weaknesses.

Not to mention they did Jill's character dirty at multiple opportunities.

Most of these people don't drive. They deliver on bikes, and at least where I live they're a menace to pedestrians, drivers, and other cyclists alike.

I'm on TC's side here. Not for the language, but how rude and inconsiderate they are both on the road and personally.

He's almost assuredly talking about his own series from seasons 6-8, and everything that came after. Especially ones where the original author isn't heavily involved.

The reason those are so good is because Peter Jackson loved the source material, and didn't try to make it his own. Yes, he adapted it for the big screen and that inherently came with changes, but he understood what made the books what it was, and kept to that vision.

This is something modern screenwriters refuse to understand. Their "work" is coming from a place of profit, and it shows.

The only reason they do it is because having a major name attached to it sells (LotR, WoT, Halo). If any of these hack screenwriters wrote their original work no one would watch past the first episode.

Hell, no one would watch past "why does the stone sink." I've read fanfics way better than what the billion-dollar projects have crapped out.

Well, Tien and Chaotzu weren't around for the Pilaf thing, but Tien was actually incapacitated by Master Roshi, in order to stop Tien from going out to challenge King Piccolo because Master Roshi planned on using the Evil Containment Wave (which failed and resulted in Roshi's death).

Well then it sounds like that was actually a smart plan given what he had to work with.

With the unfortunate death of Kevin Conroy I think Hamil said he's not gonna voice the Joker anymore. There is no Joker without The Batman.

That's a fair assessment. Most fights in the game let you approach them in a few different ways and that one straight up doesn't allow for a defensive strategy at all.

Also kinda dumb that you can't tell which attacks can hit it at each turn. Iirc Valefor can fly up and hit it from far away, but if you summon something else for its overdrive, you might end up wasting a few turns when it turns out to still be too far away.

IIRC magic works from a distance, as does Bahamut's impulse.

So for people you have Lulu and Wakka who can hit it, and Yuna if you got Holy. Aeons they can all hit it with magic, though Valefor and Bahamut are probably best bets (though the latter's attack is slower, he probably makes up for it in sheer power)
